This NEW Sprouts is hands down the best location in town, and one of the biggest reasons was Sam. He will sorely be missed at this location. Bring him back!
The store itself is great. The produce is fresh, and their rotisserie chickens are tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious (most days). One thing I really love is how they handle their taste test samples—each sample is presented in a case with lids on the small containers. It’s so hygienic, and you can tell they put thought into making everything as clean and enjoyable as possible for customers. They also have great sales! I got a huge family pack of chicken tenders for $2.50! I bought 2 huge packs for less than $5! The prices are the same as any other Sprouts.
The security can be a little overbearing, especially with very disapproving faces as you shop. As many times as I go weekly, I would expect a little more friendliness, not as if I am going to steal on every visit. I go so often that I should actually almost be on a first-name basis. There are a couple of friendly guards, but the majority of the security and self-check-out attendants can be very curt at times.
If you're looking for a good shopping experience, this Sprouts location is it. I love that I can now do all my shopping in one place and stay in South Philly. I have to take one of my stars away for Sam having to leave. I...
Read moreReally disappointed in this location, nothing like Broad and Wash. Prices are outrageous, if they did there demographics studies they would of realize its mid class spending families. Just because its considered Quartmaster or Gerard Estates area not everyone in that area makes alot of money. Some of there prices are higher than their other stores. And this creates a problem for people that prefer to eat healthy, especially that its so close to a gym. For example; $10.49 unit price per lb on salad so one container was priced at $24.89 Seriously But Enough said on price, then there's the question on Quality. There quality not good- Meat department alone is not paying attention to the quality of meat that is being put out a good bit looks nasty and old(dark brown in color) told meat department manager of the problem twice, plus call Broad & Wash to inform them of the problem. There only opened a few short months and constantly items out of stock Not a Good Start Sprouts. Not quite sure whats going on, PLEASE IRON THE WRINKLES OUT... Its ashame because South Philly was looking forward to this store to open for...
