Sweet Flavor Cake Shop — Local services in Philadelphia

The desserts here are excellent. I think the pricing is a bit iffy, though. I think the loaf cakes give you a great value, but then other desserts which are much smaller are priced similarly ($7). Would love to see some more options in the $3-5 range. Better flavor than downtown, and the coffee is solid here as well, at a fair price.

I think they need to be a bit more visual with their display, and have a board/menu inside. I actually didn't even know they had coffee until I saw their coffee machine and went over to their digital ordering system. I think it's weird that there's a digital ordering system setup but no menu yet. I get that prices and inventory can change and that the place is new, but I always feel kind of bad asking for the price of every single item in a bakery.

Much much better than a certain other Brazilian bakery in the northeast. I wish these guys the best, and I just want to see the promotion be a bit more visual with a few more affordable options. I don't mind spending $20 at a bakery but I felt like some combinations of items would run up that cost and not be enough snacks for more than 2 people. Bought 4 little desserts for my father in law, I was called a racist by a man that I’m not sure if he worked there or not but simply for asking what desserts they recommended and that he’s Puerto Rican and loves more traditional flavors, such as Flan. I was not aware that trying to find something he would enjoy was so awful of me. Anyway, the girl at the register was very kind and helped me out, however the other woman that boxed everything up gave me an empty box with no tart.
