Tuscany Ristorante — Restaurant in Philadelphia

We got together as a family recently at this restaurant. It was everyone’s first time dining here. I have to say Pulling up to the restaurant, it was sketchy outside however, we went inside and it was beautiful. It was clean and Very nice. We were greeted by a very nice waiter. We ordered and received our food in a timely manner. Out of six of us, only one of us enjoyed their food. I had the baked stuffed shells and they were not fresh. I would say they were two days old and put under a broiler before serving. My dad had the eggplant Parmesan. The breaded eggplant was very mushy. My mother had the chicken franchise and it had so much lemon that she could not enjoy it. My son’s chicken Parmesan breaded chicken was mushy as well. We came here for a baby shower dinner. I had never been, but a co-worker recommended them. They're kind of hard to see because the sign outside is dark and they're mashed in a small strip between a brightly lit pizza place and a convenience store, but it was a great find. They have a large room downstairs that they let us use exclusively and it was perfect. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. We all loved everything we ordered (there were about 12 of us). Portions were a great size and the dishes were very reasonably priced. A friend of mine and I went there for the lunch special. We found a piece of plastic from the gnocchi bag in her food. When we took our food back, instead of an apology, she was told that where they're from, they're tough and will eat anything and then questioned as to why the other platter was being sent back as well. Just a hint to the owners/workers there: almost everywhere in the world, they don't eat garbage AND when there's a piece of dirty plastic in one platter it isn't really appetizing and that's why the other platter was sent back.
