OH WOW! What can I say. My review are in the mixture got some good/bad. Me & My hubby was looking for a place to stay the night for our 10th anniversary on the 5/13 everything was booked I read all the review of this place so it was the last place I wanted to end up at. And BOY half of this review are right.
-The Lobby: 7PM As soon as you open those door you get smack with cigarette, weed, cigar smell I'm not a smoker so I was covering my face that how bad the smell was. Check in was quick so we went to the room as fast as we could the smells does't stop at the lobby is all over the place hallways smell like weed people walking around with cigarettes on.
-The Room: It smells real bad so bad that I could take it they didn't had available rooms so we got stuck with that one we went to Aldi and bough air freshenerse the room/bath was nice and clean I give them that much but it smells real bad like someone keep lighting up cigars curtains, bedspread, shower curtain, airvent was smelling like cigars and after me spraying smell was gone somewhat blankets had wholes from cigar burns we ask for a better one, towels we did't care for it we actually bring our own necessary things.
-The Bar: Bartender (Fred) was an amazing guy very friendly communicate with all the costumers always making sure everyone was Ok every glass was clean the Drinks where very delicious I recommend (The Strawberry-Pina Colada Daiquiri). Bar open 6pm/2am Now after 8/9pm I don't know what the hell happen there where strippers stripping their asses it was disgusting they didn't care that there where married couples sitting there (Fred) was apologizing for them he was embarrass of the whole situation he said this happen every night and no one do anything he has complaint of the situation I felt so bad for him.
Check out: 11AM Is a WHOLE lot different I swear it was clean smelling good no rude people no strippers hallways nice and clean is a whole lot different at PM is two different places it was hilarious the situation I was telling my hubby if we in a different place I swear a WHOLE WHOLE lot different in the AM.
RECOMMENDATION: I give it a star it's ok for a 1night stay bring your own air-freshener I swear is a whole lot different if you checking after 7 PM I won't stay more than 1night. Is the cheapest so don't expect a lot for your stay. Bring your own necessary things soap, brushes, bodywash towels, Ect.. It does't have restaurant it does provide vending machines & food menus if you ask for...
Read moreI don't normally write reviews but I feel like this is something everyone should know about. THERE IS A SEXUAL PREDATOR WALKING THE PARKING LOT EVERY WEEKEND AND THE STAFF KNOWS IT! -- The person working at the front desk followed me out to my car and told me to remove the antennae, of course I questioned why, the clerk told me there was a man she had seen just walk by that was known to steal the car antennae and use them to break into rooms. They also told me this guy has been doing this for years!!! But they haven't arrested him yet!!! I immediately walked back to my room where the laptop was in front of the window and opened the curtains, and HE WAS STANDING RIGHT OUTSIDE THE WINDOW LOOKING IN when I ran outside and called the police. He ran to his car - A MID 1990's GREEN MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS - and sped away. Late 40's, balding gray hair, had on a blue/green polo shirt and blue jeans at the time - I have seen the man a few times before and saw him driving through the parking lot once again very late that night. After I made sure he wasn't coming back I went back to the clerk and asked for a different room, she assured me that he was "ONLY A SEXUAL PREDATOR" (yes, that's a quote) and there was nothing to worry about! I checked out the next day and went to the DoubleTree just north 1mi on Roosevelt blvd and gladly paid the $20 a night extra.
-- Also the internet did not work for 3 days of the week I was there. I was working out of the Starbucks. All around the most pathetic and scary hotel experience I've ever had....
Read moreI walked in and it smelled horrible. The first thing I noticed at the front desk was all the things everybody in a room couldn't do. It was like we couldn't even breathe. The black, older lady at the front counter was rude and swiped my debit card TWICE. I asked her if she charged me twice but she shook her head no. When I got into my room, it smelled bad. As soon as I took off my shoes and got comfortable, I walked into a puddle of water that was right in front of the bathroom. So now I'm mad at the lady downstairs and the fact that I have wet socks on. Every morning, the maids would knock on the door to clean the room which wasn't a problem. Even if I said that, I didn't want my room to be checked, they'd come back 30 minutes to an hour later checking to see if I needed the room to be cleaned. At 11am for check out, the same black lady was there with her horrible attitude. I gave her my room key and asked her if I needed to fill out anything (like a regular hotel usually do). At first she acted like she didn't hear me so I asked her again and she shook her head. As I was taking my uber to they greyhound station, I noticed that she charged my debit card twice. I called them and asked for a refund and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. So, I had a pretty pissy experience at that hotel and I wasn't in a good mood when I got back to Massachusetts.
I do NOT recommend this...
