Very rude customer service representative. Went in today at approximately 11:45 a.m. to do an even exchange. Went directly to the customer service counter and the short Latina representative with long slick ponytail was extremely callous when I explained that I misplaced my receipt (just made the purchase yesterday...offered to locate cashier [Praise] because I saw her working again this afternoon). The hesitant customer service rep coldly agreed to allow the exchange "this time". I went to search for a larger size in the exact same item. Upon my return, the rep was assisting other customers at the counter. When it was my turn in line, I realized I'd grabbed the wrong brand. (A simple exchange for an unopemed pack of tshirts.) The attitude that mysteriously dissapted while she was assisting other customers immediately returned with me. In a hurry and not one to entertain drama, I simply went to fetch the proper brand. (Both brands cost the EXACT same price, may I add.) I returned for the second time and, once again, the attitude was gone while assisting other customers. This time, a woman came in to return two bags..like me, she led with I don't have my receipts, however, the rep pleasantly accepted the swimsuit (returning personal items without a receipt??) and some sort of exercise board. The customer expressed that one purchase was made on her credit card..the other on a debit card. The rep was extremely pleasant and conversational as she received the items without a receipt. She even went as far as to offer the Caucasian female customer the OPTION of receiving her RETURN in the form of cash, credit, or gift card. Two transactions...a cash return...no receipt for either. When it was my turn again, the rep didn't speak at all. When she did, the "here you go hun" was disrespectful and condescending. She offered the receipt and nearly tossed a gift card at me. I looked surprised since I was not expecting a refund, only an even exchange. She said, "Do you want this? It hardly has anything on it." Now, tired of her dismissive demeanor... especially because I'd done NOTHING to warrant the attitude, I simply replied, "If there's nothing on there, why are you offering it to me?" She shrugged her shoulders and tossed it aside. She never once explained why she was offering the gift card. Never closed with a simple "Have a nice day." My boyfriend and I spent hundreds of dollars at that store the day before. Had I know they have rude, ill trained, probably racist employees (and I don't like to resort to the "race card" but I couldn't detect any other difference between myself and the other customers she interacted with)... I would've kept my money. Too bad I lost my receipt or else I'd return everything else I purchased. Fortunately, there's a Walmart down the street. Moving forward I will be going...
Read moreSo, target. What happened to your “target experience”? Today, I placed an order for pick up, about five hours before store closing, and at checkout, it said pickup today. So, I placed the order and planned my evening accordingly. This order had items that I needed for tomorrow morning, so it was important. An hour before store closing, I called for an update, and they wouldn’t even look up my order to let me know if they were actually working on it. I was told to wait until tomorrow. I went to target chat to try and get an update, and spoke to two different representatives who just copied and pasted scripts, Then, I called target, and more of the same. There was literally not a supervisor, manager, anybody that I could talk to that could provide me with an update, or help.
I am not sure what has happened to customer service, but the fact that you can pay for an item and be promised a same-day service and not receive that service should be considered theft. I am out 5 hours of my time between waiting for fulfillment and having to jump through hoops to speak to people who may as well have been robots.
I am allowed to call them back tomorrow, though, because my issue does even warrant them picking up a phone to follow up.
If you want to be treated like trash, you can go here, or you can go to Walmart because they’re turning into...
Read moreThe only reason I go to target is because I was asked to apply for a target card to save 5% on my purchase and was actually approved for the card. So everytime I go I save 5%. Big woop.
Anyway, the store is laid out very strange. I found a limited selection of soaps and cleaning agents on one aisle, then found more across the store like 5 aisles later. Their produce selection is garbage. Why have produce if all of out is going to be dried out and days away from rotting? They have sabra hummus which isn't even good.
The thing that really got me was the person who checked me out. They were putting cleaning supplies in the bag next to lettuce. Then put cleaning supplies next to package snacks. Then put two of the same items in different bags? Then stopped ringing my things up and withheld two of my bags because their coworker wasn't working. I get it, minimum wage jobs suck (especially when you're young), but...
