I really would like to see this place grow. I think the idea of bringing back a candy store is fabulous. It is a very tiny store with enormous potential. I'm not sure how long it has been there but I'm assuming it's kinda new(I don't recall seeing it a couple months ago when I went to the ice cream parlor across the street). The woman there(sorry I ddnt catch her name but I will nxt time) said the variety of candy she has been getting in is always changing so if u don't want to miss out on any goodies u might wanna think about stopping in somewhat frequently. However, they did have some candy that I guess u would consider to be old school like Chico sticks, Turkish traffics, saucer wafers(these had a soft sour center), Lemonheads, shoes string licorice & many more as well as trending candy like toxic waste, pop rocks(which I think are also kinda old school), sour watermelons(chewy candy), push up pops & a lot more that I can't remember the names of. There were also many that I never heard of, some of which I may go back for. My visit was very brief so I will update this later when I have more info but I believe they make arrangements to give as gifts as well. We decided to do a couples “date night” at this establishment. And it was a smash hit 🙌🏽. 10 out of 10 star. The experience was so dope. Creating our personalized welcome mats was such a fun time. Highly recommend the experience....
