Whole House Fine Furniture — Local services in Philadelphia

I'm writing this note after my first night's sleep on my brand new mattress. I had been hunting for a new mattress for several weeks, but with "inflation" and all that, prices were crazy. I managed to find a mattress I liked, but the prices elsewhere were out of reach. However, Whole House Fine Furniture's prices seemed to somehow have remained low. While they had a limited selection of mattresses, they carried some top end stuff including the one I settled on elsewhere (just for significantly cheaper). They even through in delivery.

Worth noting that those delivery guys were on point. I felt bad having them climb 3 flights of stairs, but they were up with the mattress in no time. They even helped rewrap my old mattress and get it down to the street.

While I haven't purchased anything else from Whole House Fine Furniture, they do have a huge selection of most any furnishings you can think of. We checked out a few coffee table options and might be back for one sooner than planned.

I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're on or around...

This place is the real deal and a hidden gem. Great selection of furniture, great prices, often have good additional promotions happening (like free delivery). I've bought a couch, a coffee table, a dresser, recliner, a couple of arm chairs, and more from this store... All has held up great through moves. Movers were prompt & very professional.

Jack, who runs the store, is super nice and a very honest businessman. I have never felt pressured into a purchase or delivery vs pickup, etc. Makes sense, since at these prices & with this quality the furniture sells itself.

If you live in Philly city limits and are looking for a good furniture store with a wide selection, go to Uhuru first (you might luck out) and when you don't find everything you need, go here...

I have been on the search for over a month for a new couch but just could not find what I was looking for. I had seen a recommendation for Whole House Fine Furniture and truly found exactly what I was looking for. When I walked in, staff was so helpful guiding me to what I was looking for and one immediately caught my eye! Delivery was supposed to be a week but it ended up being earlier, which was great in my situation. It was a seamless process and they were so accommodating when my building elevator didn’t seem to fit it.
