Hello people, I have purchased a pool vacuum from thrift store. Although the person I talked to online went by the name of Paul. I took in two used pool vacuums a credit of $20 each was given, I wanted a vacuum similar to the Rebel I had turned in. The cashier/clerk at the store showed me a bigger more expensive vacuum that was driven with four wheels instead of two. I told him my old rebel did fine in my pool he assured faster cleaning and this would have the power to scrub the walls, I had previously mentioned I have a diving pool.
Well after purchasing this rebuilt four wheel vacuum, I took it home and let it work. The following weekend i went out expecting to do minimal cleaning to the pool, to my surprise the pool was filthy, the bottom was decent but the walls were yellowish. I scrubbed with the extended pool brush and did a complete cleaning on the pool. When dropping in the vacuum I noticed it was not able to climb the walls as I was told it would do with no problem. I then messaged Paul and his response was due your due diligence, make sure correct parts are in the vacuum. I have never had to do anything of this sort when purchasing a pool vacuum, this is a rebuilt and not new, so I tried all I could to fix this issue and was unsuccessful.
Last week I purchased a $89 pool vacuum from Amazon, I dropped that in my pool this afternoon and within 4 hrs my pool was back to normal. I then messaged Paul and gave him a opportunity to at least say bring it by so we could take a look at it, to my surprise again this person was telling me my pool pump didn't have the suction to pull this vacuum up. He does not want to take accountability or consideration that maybe he had sold a bad product. I believe this person along with the cashier/clerk are trying to push customers into purchasing their most expensive products no matter if it will help the customer, but as long as they both get commission off the most...
Read morePretty neat thrift shop with great prices.
There's roughly 20-30 vendors inside this little tiny store, they are packed to the brim with thrift everything. They had a wide selection of rarities/oddities, neat/cool old technology, some military stuff, proper little arcade machines (like $800~ machines), they looked nice, just a wide variety of everything here - lot of old nostalgic items.
I don't think the vendors would appreciate their items smelling like cigarette smoke, and I don't think future customers want their thrifted items smelling like cigarette smoke either. If you're going to smoke, go around the corner, out back, anywhere but next to the wide open front door. I don't like smelling cigarette smoke on me either!
It's a cool place to check out, they have a great selection at great prices - lot of really neat old electronic games and toys. Their vendor rates appeared to be a flat $100/per section/per month with no other fees taken out. That's a pretty good deal for the vendor. I'm not sure on the foot traffic but it is located in...

Vendors rent a space and sell their stuff out of the store. Each vendor has special style and flair so there’s something for any style. Such a good spot to go when looking for...
