Cajeta Churro Cafe has some of the best (of not the best) churros we've ever eated. My husband LOVES churros. It's a running joke that no matter where in the world he is or what he is doing, he manages to find churros. So trust me when I say that we qualified to judge how good a churro is! Cajeta's are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and SO delicious!

We got married at the start of April and decided to skip the wedding cake and do churros instead. We are from Chicago and found Cajeta based on reviews and we are so glad we did!

1. the churros and sauces are AMAZING. They delivered right before dessert so that everything was fresh and still hot. I kid you not, the thing we heard from our guests more than anything else was that the churros stole the show. Guests were eating them at the reception and then taking a few to go with them at the end of the night.

Don't hesitate to order in bulk. We had 100 full sized churros and every one of them was delicious and fresh! We took some left overs with us after the wedding and family/friends enjoying eating them the next day!

They also surprised us with a heart shaped churro that ended up being the cutest photo and so much more "us" than a picture of use cutting the cake.

2. ordering, delivery, and payment was all straightforward and easy. We contacted them about a month before the wedding to place the order. We opted to go in the week before to handle payment since we knew day of would be crazy but they also give the option of paying...

This place reminds me of home . Belen is a kind and caring soul, this I could tell by the way she speaks to you and her energy is much of a motherly like one . She actually reminded me of my mom 🤧 but! Let me tell you about the churros . Oh man . A-FREAKING-MAZING! It was funny because earlier in the day I had told my friend I was craving a churro with cajeta but there wasn’t a good place that I new made them , I came to drop my friend off at the Title Registration right next door and BOOM, here was this cafe NAMED EXACTLY AFTER WHAT O WAS LOOKING FOR. So I came inside and I am so glad I did. I will definitely be returning to this cozy spot....

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This place is amazing. I went in after seeing the reviews and I was not disappointed. One of the best churros I have ever had. They took a couple of minutes because they are made fresh to order and they came out very warm and crispy. It looks to be a family business and they are all extremely nice and welcoming.
