Went through the drive through ordered at 11:13. Didn't even get to the window until after midnight! The girl taking our order at the box didn't respond to us for over 5 minutes. When we finally got to the window the workers were goofing off and laughing. In between talking they told us our total. Then when we asked for her to make sure there was no cheese on our breakfast sandwich (cheese allergy) she laughed and asked us what we even got. We tried to complain about the time and she didn't even respond to us again.. So we asked for a discount.. she called out to the "manager" asking for a discount. We heard a woman yell back "no that's not fair to the other customers". She told us no and walked away. She then walked away to "check" our cheese situation and came back with a bag of food. We checked it before pulling away and there was only 2 orders of biscuits and gravy. We ordered 3 other sandwiches and hash browns that were not in the bag. While I was trying to put the boxes back in the bag the same girl opened the window and tried to take payment for the next order. Obviously not even looking at us. We told her we were missing a few items and she told us we were not. So we gave them the receipt and they asked for our bag back to check it. They walked around in front of us and magically had our food ready. As I was checking the sandwich for cheese she did the same thing again and tried to take the next payment. So we scooched forward thinking all of our food was there. It was not. So we went to the front because there was a long line in the drive through still. Luckily an employee was waiting to get in so we were able to talk to someone when they unlocked the door. When we told the girl we were still missing items she said "you didn't want anything else". Well we want what we paid for and I showed her the receipt again. She scoffed and walked away. The employee who had just came in came back with our missing item. This poor guy probably wasn't even clocked in yet. I told him I wanted to speak to the manager. To my surprise a man not the woman from before (Giuseppe, assistant manager) came to the door and spoke with me. heard me out yet refused to give me the name of the girl at the take out window. He said he was the manager on duty and would take blame. He said if I didn't make a complaint he would refund my order. He seemed genuinely disappointed with his team. Took my receipt, did not give it back so I would have names and ticket numbers but did give me my money back. I'm sorry I don't care how many teens you have working this was an unacceptable experience all around. Leaving now its been over an hour and twenty minutes, we got laughed at, and accused of...
Read moreI have lived near this location for 11 years. I go into this restraunt at least 1 to 2 times a month. My last experience was very bad. Upon arriving in the drive thru, I gave my order. A number 2 meal. I went through the entire order. The guy on the intercom, told me that I had asked for two number 1 meals. I told him No. I wanted just one number 2 meal. So I went over the entire order again. So the guy on the intercom told me that I was getting two number 2 meals. Now this upset me at this point. I asked him if he was new. He told me no. He had worked there for quite a while. I responded by saying, " but yet you continue to screw up my order. His words were, Hey buddy I am doing the best I can, and I fixed it. By this time I was already pissed off. So I asked for the manager on duty. This person got on the intercom, and began to yell at me. Making excuses for his employee there. Well he fixed it, and so on. No apology, or anything to that point. He made it out like it was my fault that his employee screwed up. So I drove up to the window, were I could address this person face to face. I told him to look at my face, and that I was a regular customer. I also told him that it should not take 3 times to go over my order at all. The guy that originally took my order was standing in the back ground with a smirk on his face, laughing. With that I just told the manager to have a nice day, and left. I was so discussed with them, that I would not purchase any items at this point. I was blow-in away with the unprofessional service that I received at this place. After eating at Whataburger for the last 40 years, I have never received such poor customer service at any Whataburger ever before. Also this manager had blonde hair, male, and was a stocky individual, The order taker was a stocky dark haired guy with brown framed glasses, with his hair parted to the side. Oh, I did file a complaint with the corporate office, but like my experience at the restraunt , I did not receive any call backs from any Manager up high. I would think that this location would like to keep its regular customers, being that it is not always packed with customers, like the Mc Donald's is across the street from them. I really do not plan to visit here again or for a long time. I am going to need to get this out...
Read moreIt was around midnight, I was starving, and the McD's up the street was supposedly out of burgers and chicken around midnight. I'd never had Whataburger before, so I decided to have a go at them. I ordered a meal deal with onion rings and an additional burger. I was surprised at the $21 bill, but it seems like most fast food joints are getting kinda spendy anyway. I recieved the meal from a nice, friendly, polite, and professional young lady at the window. The meal prep took a bit longer than I'm used to, but I figure that late at night they don't want to risk wasting food by provoking items. I got the food and and circled around to the parking lot to eat my meal. I couldn't stop myself from wolfing down the deliciousness that was the onion rings. Some of the he best I've ever had, especially from a fast food joint. Then I reached into the bag and pulled out the first burger. Holy schnikees that thing was big! With both burgers being this large size, I now understand the $21bill. I can't recall exactly what burgers I got, but both were amazingly awesome. The beef was fresh tasting and not overly greasy. The rest of the toppings were all fresh as well. A bit much on the lettuce, but I'll just have to remember next time to have them leave that off. As I was expecting the burgers to be the same size as the smaller ones offered up at the other fast food restaurants, I got two, not knowing how big they'd be. I managed to wrap myself around one burger, but the other would have to wait until the next day. This is good to know for the future that one meal deal will actually be a filling meal for me. I'll definitely...
