Over a week ago. I came to the salon around 6 PM, I called to make an appointment. I received a nail polish change for my toes from an older gentleman. Right from the start, he wasnāt very welcoming. He seemed frustrated, and it made me uncomfortable.
After he painted my toes, he asked me to sit down to get my finger nails painted. During the process, he seemed really irritated. He was rough with my hands, even raised his voice when I wanted to check the nail polish. I tried to overlook it at first.
Then, I asked for Chrome on my nails, a trendy style known as āHailey Bieber nails.ā The lady beside me asked if silver chrome would work, and I thought they knew what I was wanting, given itās a popular trend. However, when the gentleman applied the chrome, my brown nails turned completely silver. I trusted the process, thinking maybe it would be buffed down to show the brown underneath. But that didnāt happen.
When he finished, I told him it wasnāt what I wanted. I wanted the chrome, but I also wanted to see the brown underneath. He got really angry. I couldnāt understand everything he said, but he told me he wouldnāt do my nails again and that he wouldnāt serve me next time. I ended up crying.
Then, a lady, took over to do my nails. I explained what I wanted and showed her a picture. She mentioned she didnāt have chrome, but she was very kind and did try to make it right. At this point, though, I felt uneasy and just wanted to leave. Even after she finished, my nails still werenāt exactly how I wanted based on the pictures, but I didnāt want to say anything anymore; I was afraid to.
The other guy just stood there, making the situation even more uncomfortable. Iāve never experienced anything like this as a customer. Iām usually not confrontational, and I work in customer service myself, so I understand how challenging it can be.
It was was my birthday, and I wanted to have my nails done for my birthday trip. I donāt get my nails done often, so this was a special treat for me.
Iām really upset and disappointed as a customer to feel disrespected by a business. I came in for a service, and my intention was never to upset anyone. I genuinely loved your salon. Iām just not sure what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRude. Lied about price & treatment done. Told me $20 for regular pedicure when I asked, then after I left my daughter and her friend there for their pedis, the older man (who did my daughter's toes) said no it's not $20, it's $15 for kids pedicure. She was excited about that since she was paying for it herself. (Both girls heard him say that.) ....Then he didn't use hot towels lotion or massage her legs. He didn't even clip her nails or file them smooth (see picture). The girl who did her friend's did a good job, she was happy. But my daughter's look terrible. Then when they went to pay, the lady said $40. My daughter said no the older guy said $15 each for kids pedi. She said no that's for littler kids. The older guy had gone out to smoke and wasn't their to verify (why would my girls make that up!). I came inside now to talk to them. The younger guy (very rude) said I told you $20 and I said yes but then the older guy said it's $15, they got kids price. He said no. I told him that she didn't even get the hot towels and lotion like her friend. First, he said they have cameras and I said yeah, she's not lying. Both girls saw what happened. They spoke in their language we don't understand and then he said "we don't have to do that (hot towels/ lotion) if we don't want to". I said that's ridiculous. They did it for one and not the other!! And then to charge $20 for the work they did. I said we wouldn't be back and he said good, we don't need your business. Terrible customer service!! Not to mention the place is terribly ventilated, the smell was very strong! Go at your own risk. We prefer the place across the street. It's cheaper for a basic pedi, the people are nicer and the space bigger and better ventilated.....Too bad they had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter had her nails done on Saturday for our mommy daughter day by the older guy that they call their dad. Then just a few days later on Tuesday the tips under the powder started to peel away. I tried to come in 2 times to have them fixed for her and both times they were closed before it says they close. I come in finally on Sunday a week later and they are open and say they waited for us when we called. I was here when they say they were but no one was here nor did they answer the phone, but say they were there. Now they tell me that my daughter started to pick at them and thats why the tip peeled away. He says the only way this would happen is if she picked at them. Finally after my daughter was in tears they agreed to fix them by only to file them down. They made sure EVERYONE who worked there looked at the nails, then talked of course in their language about it and giggled afterwards. The whole time my daughter is still in tears. I will say when we first came in and had the nails done they were polite and seem to be caring and happy that my daughter and I had our mommy daughter day together. My daughter is 15 and this was her very 1st time getting nails done and now they have her completely in tears. They didn't even make them even and on two of the nails after "fixing" them there is still part of the tip that shows is missing. I also had my nails done and didn't have any problems with them but I had them done by a...
