Metro Gateway — Local services in Phoenix

I don't like this shopping center for two reasons.

The parking lot itself is horrible and needs to be resurfaced.

On Monday mornings, I wait in this parking lot for an hour while my son works out with a trainer at Planet Fitness. I've been approached several times by apparently unhoused people asking for money. Since I am usually alone, this makes me very uncomfortable. There should be more, or more obvious, security presence, especially with a school in the same commercial center.

When one drives through the Metro Gateway area it gave me the saddest feeling !!! One can see how glorious that area once was, one can imagine the cars and people around there and now it is a ghost town!! it broke my heart, The place is super big, everything around, except LIFE. i have never experience such a sadness for people who still have business in the area. I know about business areas and this one broke my heart. :( :( I hope investors will come and revive...

So much construction. Hard to get around. Castles and coasters needs a major remodel and update. Especially for the prices they charge. Only a small few of the outside stores are worth visiting. Culver's. Hooter's and a few other restaurants. Rough area. Hard to enjoy spending time near metro...
