The Bosa Donuts next to Fry’s Grocery Store by 35th and Peoria treated me horribly to the point I refuse to be their customer anymore. I ordered a Tuna Croissant and even gave the cashier a 25% tip. She gave me a burnt croissant! I gave them the benefit of the doubt, it might add to the flavor so I tried it. Took 2 bites and couldn’t get past the taste of the char. Went up front quietly to the cashier and someone else came up and said I shouldn’t have eaten it and should’ve brought it back up immediately… (this is the wrong response for a customer service person) instead of oh my gosh. I apologies that WE gave YOU, our returning customer, a Burt croissant in the first place… We’ll make it right. But once they gave me my replacement tuna bagel this time they gave me one with cheese. First croissant I asked for everything but cheese, and that’s what I got (minus it being burnt), this time I got cheese included, even though they could have pulled up my order, or asked me again what my order was. But I did hear the cashier say everything but cheese so I knew the order would come out fine. But due to just coming out of the hospital for a Gastro disease, everything I eat matters. I’m lactose intolerant also and the medicine I take makes me hungry. After eating half of the bagel I picked up the other half and saw cheese inside the wrapping, I looked and there was cheese in my bagel! I went over, (said nothing about them making it over, nor for my money back) simply and calmly wanted to address the lack of service I was given. Showed him the cheese inside, and the man had the audacity to say, why did you eat it, why didn’t I bring it back up. I told him I have a medicine that makes me hungry I trusted the woman hearing the cashiers direction of “NO CHEESE” it was also tasty so I continued eating. And he continued yelling at me as I told him I’m never coming back! My health is a serious matter!
ANYONE that has health issues please BEWARE of this place. Their customer service is TRASH. Officially lost a returning customer...
Read moreI would not give this location a single star. I have been a customer since it first opened, and at the beginning, the owner appeared friendly. She often offered free items and even asked my family to leave positive reviews in order to counteract negative ones. Over time, however, her behavior proved unprofessional. She frequently gossiped about her staff and even mentioned that she was hiring. Her conversation with us that day was she wanted to weed out the bad staff. When my daughter, who was seeking employment, expressed interest, we made it clear from the beginning that she could not work on Sundays for religious reasons. The owner agreed and hired her. Despite this agreement, my daughter was later terminated because she would not work on Sundays, a condition that had already been discussed and accepted at the time of hiring. To make matters worse, the dismissal was based on false claims from another employee named Precious, simply because my daughter refused to participate in gossip and Precious would go to work multiple times crying. My daughter refused to engage in drama or gossip. Precious felt the need to make up false accusations. Not only was this termination discriminatory and unprofessional, but the owner also failed to pay my daughter for the hours she had worked. This business environment is toxic, dishonest, and highly unethical. I have documented video evidence that contradicts many of the owner’s claims and plan to make it public. The level of dishonesty and lack of integrity displayed at this business is deeply concerning. This store does not reflect the values of fairness, respect, or professionalism, and it should not be operating in...
