I love this neighborhood salon. Rebecca, the owner, works very hard to ensure I am happy with my hair cut and color every time. I’ve had other hair treatments as well that were exceptional! I’ve been a client for many years. She is very reasonably priced and has many years of experience. It feels good to support a small business.

PS I have seen people park in the salon Parking spots and then go to the restaurant across the street. Some of those people were angry when the landlord had their vehicle towed or stickered they then write bad reviews for this business despite not using the hair salon business. I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service by the owner Rebecca. I came in and asked for the picture listed below of a honey balayage. This is what my hair looked like leaving her salon. I was very upset when I got home and felt really insecure about the coloring on my hair because it is nowhere close to what I asked for and frankly done horribly even if I did ask for ashy highlights like she gave me. I reached out to her and respectfully asked for a refund because I got something completely different than I asked for and she refused to give me a refund. Rebeca Mena, the owner and lead hair dresser of Ruris Salon, has been doing my hair for 18 years now! Not only have we been through many of my different hairstyles and colors together, but we stayed connected personally as we have each been raising our children. She was even the one to pluck my first gray! Rebeca has always done a splendid job on my hair highlights and cuts. She's especially gifted at replicating a picture when I find a style I like in a magazine.
