As soon as I walked in --- I loved it! Bowie wall art AWESOME!

What a fantastic time! My husband and I were in from out of town and flying out the following morning and wanted to try Postino after reading reviews online saying how great the food and wine are. The whole experience was extraordinary! Ethan our bartender lends a special electricity to the atmosphere while adding his wit and wisdom to the conversation! We ordered a bottle of Downtown Red (GSM), Skewers, meatballs, and mozzarella & tomatoes; we soon realized we needed another bottle of wine and more skewers...so good! So as our evening ended, we called our cab and soon came to find that our cab had been the victim of some sort of alleged sabotage?!? We had an early flight and wanted to go back to our hotel. We didn't like how this sounded neither did the manager! She called us an Uber and all ended well! (Thank Goodness) I cannot find enough words to describe the immense feeling of gratitude or convey the thanks my husband and I have for Rachel and her staff! Postino is not merely a place to grab a bite to eat but a place that truly cares about the people who come there - no matter how near or far! We will never forget this kindness! Thank you to everyone who works there! This will be a regular stop from now on!

With much gratitude and...

Incredibly upscale bar with an outdoor seating area. Parking is a bit tight and waits are common, even on the Tuesday we went (though their wine and meat board deal likely was the reason). There are a variety of seating areas, including outside, on the couch, at the bar, and at regular or high tables. Tables for two are actually quite small and it becomes a Tetris game trying to fit all the food and drinks on. The atmosphere, however, is always lively, with trendy music playing and unique objects all around to use as conversation starters.

Their exclusive wine is delicious, especially their Merlot, and they specifically pair well with the meals served here. The grilled cheese with different condiment combos was delicious (though I wish there was more pesto) and the brushetta board was always a delight of picking different flavor combinations. When I went to Postino's for the first time, their Butcher's Block was always held in my regard as the perfect charcuterie board, but since visiting locations such as Cibo, the flavors feel limited.

Service was great, with routine checkups, up until the end when we were ready to pay but weren't noticed by the staff for a number of minutes. Overall, this upscale restaurant had a few annoyances, but this was a perfect location for a...

Every single time I pick up someone from the airport I bring them to Postino Arcadia (bc it's close to the AP) for a true Phoenix dining experience. Cool people, great service, delicious and creative food, awesome atmosphere and—at Arcadia if we're lucky—Brittany Martin will be our server. All the staff seem to be friends and have a good time, which makes dining here truly special. And if you frequent any of the Postino's enough, you will become friends with the staff too.

We live down the street from Postino Central, and it is our Friday night ritual to walk down the street. We are happiest when Kayla and Jeff are the bartenders because they embody the "Classic" Upward Projects Spirit of getting to know your customer and we feel like we are hanging out with friends. Which we are!

Sadly, I will say, some of the Upward Projects staff have lost that get-to-know-you spirit as new (and younger?) employees come on board. It seems the older crew are more hospitable. It used to be you could go into any of their places and after a month or two, the staff and manager took notice and would introduce themselves. We have frequented these establishments once or twice a week since 2009, and have come to know longtime employees as friends, and it is that sense of community that keeps...
