So I used to avoid this place at ALL costs because the customer service was horrible. I mean so bad you felt you were doing something wrong by asking an employee for help! I have been getting major dental work next door by an amazing Dr at sierra sky dental you need to check out asap to keep your oral hygiene pristine and clean! I would never have gone back into usa pawn, which was what I thought of as typical ghetto pawn shop with miserable and mean employees and how tragic the location is next to such a fabulous dental practice, however I was waiting to be picked up from the dentist and has a little extra money and got kids a little gift that thank God I bought because times for tough with the pandemic and I had to take the item back to USA pawn and see about a loan and omg the drastic change! ALL new staff. Nice staff that seen to REALLY care ABOUT customer service! I mean this young man treated me so warmly and with such respect and kindness I HONESTLY have NEVER EVER received the quality of care he displayed so genuinely from a pawn shop in my entire life. I feel pawn shops can be petty miserable jerks who hate their job and use it to hurt people who are already going through a tough time which is why they're coming in the shop for help and I swear some smile while they tell you NO and watch your sadness wash across your face. This was how this shop USED to be if you could even get an emplyees attention that is. But not now. I'll tell you this young man asked me what the amount was I wanted I told him and he said "ok let's get that for you right away! " And then he DID! THAT'S UNHEARD OF AND YOU KNOW I6N NOT LYING IF YOU'VE DONE BUSINESS WITH THESE PLACES. I WAS AND STILL AM SHOCKED. Now I gotta keep it real and tell you when the manager came over to confirm my transaction or whatever he said I wasn't actually able to get the exact amount and was a bit less, nothing that was life ending and only hurt me a little bit being no one else would have given me ANYTHING close to what I asked for. My bottom line is this though if you've been to this usa pawn not stopped going please try them out again. It'll be worth it to you I PROMISE. All customers while I was there were treated with respect, kindness, and didn't seem to feel like they're transactions were criminal line how you'll leave some shops feeling. I have only done business with this pawnshop one time before my most recent visit, which unfortunately will also be my last. I took an engine hoist to sale because I have been struggling financially and I was told by a female employee to come back tomorrow anytime from open to close 7pm and see the male manager name pronounced Bow (Sp?) And I was told they would BUY it. I held up my end and showed up at 6pm the next day with the expectation of selling my engine hoist and I spoke with Bow. He asked what I was looking to get for it and because I was desperate for money I said anything I could get due to the fact that my fuel light was on and I needed gas. I told him I was there the day before and that they told me they would purchase it but he had to be there to carry the item inside since it was quite large. So Bow and I walked out to my vehicle to look at it which I had already shown the other worker the day before and was told they would buy it after looking at it) and he told me that he was going to pass because he had trouble selling them in the past and he said some other stuff that I didn't even bother listening to because quite frankly, it was of no good use to me and was more of a waste of my time. So I DO NOT recommend this pawn shop and I give it the rating accordingly because I wasted gas I couldn't afford to waste on the notion they would purchase my engine hoist, which they did not. I will not ever go back to this pawn shop to sale them anything or to even purchase anything from them not even if they have a going out of business sale or any other discount for that matter. But this was my personal experience, hopefully it doesnt happen to anyone else, but I wouldnt bet on this pawn shop coming through...but that's just me. This happened a while ago but I never wrote the well deserved review maybe a year ago. Anyways I needed a little extra cash and I didn’t want more then what I needed so I could pay it back easy. I pawned my handgun a $500 dollar pistol with a $140 Meprolight ft bullseye sight with a custom slide cut job $200 all I wanted was $100 which they gave me without question. I have a job as the majority reading this does so I only come in on certain days and times the first time was 2 weeks before the loan would close I came in at 5pm and was told it was too late to do a background check. I came in the following week at 3pm and was told the same thing. Now I’m running out of time I took the day off work losing about $150 and came in around noon only to be told their internet was down and I couldn’t do it then either and then I got stuck at work the next day the day the loan ended. I came in the following day a single day after my time ran out speaking to the same lady I had dealt with when the internet was down and she didnt remember that ever happening it’s finished sold my $800 pistol for $100 dollars because of internet problems!...
