Choon Burritos — Restaurant in Phoenix

Ps. Adding to the review below. If you order either beef tongue burrito or gordita, don't expect tongue, but actually shredded beef with two or the small pieces of tongue. They are doing this thinking that people are stupid or something else. Definitely, it'ss getting worse.

The food is really good, but like most business, once they got enough customers, they started to make the burritos smaller and not as much food as they used to. Also, I have had 5 times my order was wrong. Needless to say, I'm no longer eaten there. Update The taste and food have changed. I asked for a lengua gordita and burrito, and I specified not cilantro and/or onion. Well, it seems that they didn't care whether I wanted or not. First, they barely put any meat. Second, they put way too much onion, which it seems that on every bite, it was more onion than meat. So they are lucky I gave them 2 starts.

New update: The rating now drops to 1 star, and they are lucky. I visit today in hopes that everything would be better. I ordered a beef tongue gordita, and when the lady that makes the tortillas and gorditas, dropped the spatula to the floor. She just picked it up and put it on the table to be ready to use. I asked them to please wash it before using it to flip the gordita, she ignore me as well as the cashier and the person that makes finish or fill the gorditas and burritos. I asked them to please clean the spatula or just to cancel my order. The cashier said he could cancel the order but not refund the money. So question to the owner. Is this how a business should be run. Do I need to report them to...

I went to the restaurant today they took 20min to give me 2 burritos when I asked why was it taking so long the guy made a face and grab the tortillas and started doing the burritos I asked again what was the hold up and he said he was working on the other order I said but they came 5 minutes after i got here, the lady that was making the tortillas said yes she has been here for a while and apologize to me for the wait the guy who was doing the burritos kept quiet put the burritos in the bag went to the kitchen to bring some of the meat they have in the containers put the container in the burner then called another lady and said her burritos are done and pointed to the bag the lady was confused of why he called her instead of him giving me the bag. After I tried to eat the burritos one was very salty the other that was for my son was supper spicy he was not able to eat it. I paid 34dlls for 2 burritos (small) and 2 sodas very pricey food for the location and the terrible service. You could find better service somewhere...

I had a very disappointing experience for the first time coming and buying burritos here not only was the food and not at the expectation. I found a piece of foil in the meat I called several times to try to complain and get my money back and the owner was notified by the manager and he refused to give me my money back and was very rude saying he did not want to help me. I notified him that I would be reporting him to the food department because it wasn’t safety that they’re cooking the food and finding foil inside of it and he did not care he said I could do whatever I wanted. Very unprofessional coming from an owner who is selling homemade food to people who are not cooking it safely. I would never go back or recommend anybody. I called several times and when speaking to the employees they have such horrible customer service and very unprofessional way that they speak to customers. Overpriced burritos and unprofessional horrible customer service how can anybody want to come here as they promote that they are the best...
