Today was the worst experience we have had at any location. We placed an order online and within minutes we received a text stating order was ready. When I walked in no order was waiting, cashier ignored me standing next to the register and continued to ring up multiple customers. Several min later, after hearing my displeasure being expressed to my son, the cashier finally asked me if I placed an order online. I explained that I had, we received a text several min ago stating order ready and that I was ignored by him for multiple customers who had not yet even paid for their order as we had. Cashier went looking for the order after ringing up another customer. Theb after looking confused for several min, he began making the order himself. He then walked up sevaral min later and explained, a previous female cashier clicked ready and failed to complete the order. Then he explained we would have to wait 15 min for an entree to be made. I expressed my displeasure with the order handling to the cashier, in front of a supervisor wearing a black shirt who was walking out with another employee but she never apologized and appeared to hear that the order was never made because she looked at the cashier as she walked out. Supervisor did nothing when she came back in the store and continued to bring boxes in from outside for restocking items in store with a other employee. There were several employees seemingly doing nothing and one female chose to speak to a customer with a baby, while completely ignoring me when I first arrived. I will never come back to this location again and others should go elsewhere, due to the incompetence and failure in management to act. I have attached my receipt as proof but it has been partially redacted for privacy. For some reason it showed a long number next to door dash at the bottom (redacted) and you can also see at the bottom of the receipt that the order shows it was ready at 7:49pm. My mother and I went through the drive thru at this Panda Express location. Ordered a Panda Bowl and Small Entree on the side. Normally like many other Panda Express’s I have gone through and ordered. I usually ask if they still offer military discount like for example the day before. I even had my military ID ready because I get it., Who wants to assist all civilians thinking military just gets hand outs. I pull up to the window to pay, debit card on hand with my military ID and young gentleman with a black sweater and possibly red shirt and curly hair reads me my order and gives me my total. Before handing him my debit card with my military ID on hand, I directly asked him if they are still offering a military discount. Individual responded with no we do not do that here. I proceeded with my next question, “Well what about law enforcement discount?” Response was we do not do that either. At this point I hand him my debit card because who am I to question his authority, even though I got the discount at another location the day before. Individual charges me and comes back with my food. I asked my final question which was “Is it just his location that does not offer a military discount or all panda’s?” Individual’s response was “We do not do that, and all Panda’s shouldn’t be doing that.”
So now after receiving my food and getting charged. I only have one request, please update your discount policy so I can get used to the FU for my military service. Either way, the thank you’s are always a back hand either way, because what follows after any complaints are well no one made you join. Not my first time dealing with this situation with this place and I thought the first was a coincidence. Since the new age is FU for anything you do to try to be in the public service, so that’s all I ask so I can be good now with the FU Veteran consumer culture. Read moreI pulled up to the drive thru at exactly 2:03PM, I know this because as I drove up my phone rang. I was 4 cars back, the wait was ridiculous but I have been to this panda before and its always painfully slow at the drive thru. By the time I pulled up to get my meal, my phone call was 17:20 long. I told the server, you know I have been waiting for 17 minutes? She immediately cut me off and said you have been here for 5 minutes sir! I said impossible my phone call says 17 min. She responded I have the timer right here its been 5 minutes with a stern and annoyed voice as if I was the one keeping her in line for so long. I then asked, from the time i ordered or the time I got in line? She specifically said .. from the time you got in line. She closed the window to get my order. The person on my phone call couldn't believe she talked to me like this and was essentially calling me a liar. I didn’t feel like arguing with this person anymore as my lunch is only 30 minutes which 17 minutes of it was spent waiting in line. I couldn't leave as there were cars behind me. I am disgusted that an employee who is in customer service would respond the way she did. Is this location going to tell me that they monitor each car from the moment they get in line and start timing? I am calling BS on that, however if they do, then I would like to challenge the manager to go thru his security footage and see what time I showed up and how long I was in line. I have nothing to gain by lying. I do not expect anything free or discounted. I was just simply letting the server know how long I been in her line to get my meal. I have never been treated like this before. I would love for the manager of this location to check his footage and see how long I was in this line then I would almost demand that person be addressed for insinuating I was lying or exaggerating about it.
