If I could give no Stars I would! I've ordered from Presto pizza in the past, my family has ordered from here and I had never had a bad experience until now. I had ordered 2 extra large pizzas one pepperoni and one cheese. The pepperoni pizza was fine...it's when I starting eating the cheese I noticed a particularly taste I can only explain what I experienced and what my children & family said. The cheese pizza had a unusual taste I can say it was comparable smell to nail polish remover! Yes nail polish remover! At first I thought it was me but one of my oldest kids mentioned it, when he did I began to ask everyone else who has cheese pizza. Everyone said the same thing the smell was like nail polish remover. There was no issues with the pepperoni. I quickly out what ever cheese pizza was left in the box. I made an attempt to call presto pizza but Ramon advised that the owner would not be in till Monday and he would let him know. No one seemed concerned. I called Monday spoke with Tony and he advised the owner was on deliveries would be back in 15minutes. Still no call from the owner. Today I spoke with a lady advised that the owner was off today. I was explaining to her what had happened and that I've been trying to contact the owner this would be my 3rd attempt. There was no concern or responsibility excepted. She kept saying " well we sell a lot of pizza and never had a problem" I felt she's sweeping the issue under the rug. I requested for the owner to call me back that it is a very important matter. I'm still waiting for his call. The custome service I've experienced coming from a this business there is none! No apology given at all I feel the owner trying to avoid this......very sad and...
Read moreI get to eat at Prestos about once a year when I travel to that side of town for business. The Pizza is a little more money than the special at Pizza Hut. However, today I got a good opportunity to really compare.
Pizza Hut Large any item is like getting a Prestos Medium or maybe even a small. Pizza Hut is $11 special, Prestos is a larger large for $15. The biggest difference is not the larger pizza, it's the fresher taste of the toppings sauce and crust! Don't order double on the ingredients, they come pretty loaded as a single order. Proved not to be more expensive, just more pizza and fresher tasting.
Martha does most of the cooking that I could see, now there is a really pretty lady but she is constantly busy. The delivery guys are always on delivery (ps they have a sign up hiring more delivery) so if you get to talk to anyone, it's the young man on the front. I saw a client ask him for something and you could tell he took great pride in being asked and filling requests.
If I lived anywhere closer than I do now, that would be my lunch hang out every day. Should have an extra credit 6th...
Read moreI remember when this place was called Carmine's. I decided to move to this part of town again and saw this place where Carmine's was. I loved Carmine's to death when I was a kid... everything was authentic. Unfortunately, I hadn't the same experience with Presto's. The pizza tasted somewhat like a blander knock off of Papa John's. Everything about it. The crust even looked manufactured like the big chains. The only part about it that seemed to be hand tossed was as if it was tossed onto a frozen stack in a factory. The wings I got with it was mild - super sloppy. The oily sauce was so slick it didnt stick to the wings... either that or the wings were never tossed in the sauce like proper wings should be. I begrudgingly ate a waste of $30 in the form of a disappointing, luke-warm pizza and a dripping, soggy bag of fried chicken. 2 stars for effort, lesser 3 for the shame of...
