Not even close to good. We lived in Japan so hoping for something close to Japanese food. At least hoping for the kind of food that's on the sign, hibachi grill, cook in front of you style restaurant. The restaurant is barely decorated just a few paper lanterns in Japanese, TVs, sushi bar. It looks like it used to be a hibachi grill but now everythings been stripped out and there's a small dining room. Extremely slow service, table of 5 people it took over an hour to get food after we ordered, no appetizers, we were the only people eating in, there were a few takeout pickups. The food portions are small even by Japanese standards. The sushi was a disgrace. Loose, not packed together, fall apart when you pick them up and undersized. The soup is miso from a package, bland greasy yakisoba with 3 shrimp. This place in no way resembles anything Japanese or Japanese food, expect the paper lanterns, which probably taste better than the food.

Although they don't have the hibachi "experience", with the huge flamed fire hitting your face/maybe sing-ing your eyebrows and flying food being tossed in your face. It's delicious, they just cook it in the back..hibachi steak is delicious. *Update returning and had the same dish* I came for lunch after church Sunday and they charge dinner prices all day. Which is fine, but the food was not like when I ate here and reviewed it was so good. The soup tasted like dishwasher water and the hibachi steak was not good! Not being consistently good is a problem I asked for vegetables and didn't get a broccoli, and very few veggies..my husband and I were done eating by the time the veggies were ready, so we left. They come out of a bag

Good looking food but the habachi came with onions and black pepper even tho I asked for it without. They tried to remake but didn't work so they just didn't charge for it. Thankfully the Veggie sushi was plain with cucumber and avocado. Nice service and comfortable seating. Good lighting- not too bright or dark.

I'm sorry to the owners, but this was unfortunately the worst sushi experience I have ever had. Maybe I should have taken a hint from there being no cars in the parking lot, but it was 2 in the afternoon so I assumed the lunch rush was over. There were no other customers in the building and I almost felt rushed to order from the mot so friendly waitress. Right after I ordered I turned and asked to change my choice and with a sigh was given the ok. When the food arrived I was underwhelmed. The $14.99 roll I ordered was made of 8 small pieces and my child's order of hibachi rice was on an appetizer sized plate. Not to mention, the quality of the food was not good either. We definitely will...
