I never write reviews but this whole interaction trying to cancel my membership is absurd. The reason why I cancelled is because the classes always fill up so it is impossible to get into a class unless you book weeks in advance and I don’t like to plan my workouts that far in advance. I also think the classes are very repetitive and not challenging.
Once I decided to cancel my membership it was impossible and Laura the manager gave me the run around. The manager Laura will be argumentative and dismissive when you are trying to just cancel your membership. I had to threaten to contact my Mastercard. I started the communication to cancel May 16 and my membership is still not officially cancelled. Yes, I know Laura it will charge me another month, but I want it documented that the request is officially put in for cancellation. Laura called me and told me they can’t find my name in the system, but kept telling me to continue trying it online. She gaslights you into thinking it’s an issue with you filling out the form when she already admitted that she can’t find me in the system and that’s probably the reason the form isn’t working on my end. I told her it’s not working numerous times. I have 11 email threads back and forth over a cancellation!!! I had to suggest coming into the shop and I’m just so annoyed and over it and her attitude is just the opposite of what you would expect from an owner/operator. Save your money and try Hockessin...
Read moreGreat except for the obnoxious music. The instructors are all FANTASTIC and each brings a different set of strengths to their teaching style. They are all respectful and very kind. Classes are interesting and varied. Their timing is impeccable: Classes begin and end exactly when they are scheduled to do so -- which is so important when you are trying to fit exercise into your schedule. The studio is always clean. The music, though, is awful. Who wants to listen to LOUD club music, or techno-esque thumping, or weird pop-song-remakes first thing in the morning? (I'm sure it's exactly what Joseph Pilates had in mind when he created Pilates. Ha-ha.) Maybe it's not as jarring if you go later in the day. I wear LOOP earplugs and it's still obnoxious. If you are prone to injuring yourself, (or maybe that's just me?) the music can make it difficult to concentrate on doing the movements safely. I once attending a Pilates class in Hilton Head and they played classical music --- it was lovely. This is not. If you are prone to tension headaches or migraines from music at loud volumes or from hearing the same pattern repeatedly, you might want to skip it or try it out first...
Read moreI'm absolutely thrilled with my new Club Pilates membership! From the moment I stepped into the studio, I felt welcomed and supported. The instructors are truly exceptional – Joanna, Suzanne, Andrea a few favorites :) they're knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly motivating. They clearly explain each exercise, offer modifications when needed, and create a positive and encouraging atmosphere. I really appreciate how they focus on proper form, ensuring I'm getting the most out of each movement and preventing injuries. The classes themselves are fantastic. There's a great variety, so I never get bored, and I'm consistently challenged in new ways. I've noticed a significant improvement in my core strength, flexibility, and overall posture. Even after just a few weeks, I'm feeling more toned and energized. The studio is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with top-notch equipment, which adds to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a fun, effective, and supportive workout, I highly recommend giving Club...
