Cork & Barrel — Restaurant in Pike Creek, Delaware

Showed up at 11:15am and sat for an hour after ordering before asking our waitress if there was a delay. Was told they just started cooking our food (an hour after we ordered). We changed our order to go because we paid for 2hrs parking since no street parking was available. Didn't get our food until 12:45pm. My "Crabby Benedict" was more like a boiled egg with no hollandaise sauce. (See image) Asked for a refund and the manager agreed to cancel mine and one of my friends orders, but they can only void transactions so they would have to recharge my friend for the one of three correct orders. Well somehow they managed to lose my friends card and charged my card for their food and claimed we only gave them one card and "we must've dropped the other card somewhere". Another waitress walked outside 30seconds later with my friends card.

Cooking staff was carrying a bag of trash out the front door in front of guests through the dining space with an apron on.

The vibe is classy enough to impress a date, but relaxed enough that you can accidentally spill nachos on yourself and still feel at home.

The cocktails? Dangerous. You’ll start with one thinking you’re sophisticated, then suddenly you’re singing karaoke with strangers like it’s family reunion night. The staff? Absolute legends—somehow managing to be quick, hilarious, and just the right amount of sarcastic to make you wonder if they’re secretly stand-up comedians.

This place is great for after party or if you just want to watch a game, or if you had a stressful day at work or just wanna unwind and hangout with friends. We randomly tried this place and see how it is, they don't serve food but you can order next door (anthony's) and they'll deliver it to you or you pick it up... drinks are great and affordable, I recommend to try espresso martini 🍸 and the white tea shot!!🥃 The girls who work there are friendly too.. Not a kid-friendly place. It's adults time...
