I’m surprised the ratings are so high for this place. I have 2 days left on my warranty for my keyboard from this place and so when I went in to get help for the issues that are still happening after the repair, he said he could return the keyboard but then I would be without a keyboard!!! Then he said he could replace the logic board which I am new to Macs and asked for guidance because I didn’t know what to do. He was just saying I guess I could do this or I guess I could do that and wouldn’t give me a straight answer and was extremely condescending. I wasn’t even going to return there again as this was my third attempt at trying to get help from this company but he kept texting me saying I had a warranty and it could just be a setting and to let him take a look. Well he didn’t even look at my computer this time!! Such a weird experience with this place! But he got my money and probably never even replaced my keyboard to begin with!! Read moreDerrick was great and courteous and was able to get my Macbook Air screen replaced for a really reasonable price, which I was so grateful for!
Unfortunately, about a month and a half later, the replacement screen also developed an issue, with strange discoloration in the middle. Derrick was once again really helpful and went above and beyond to procure another new one to replace it again at no additional cost, even though it was just outside of the 30 day return period.
Then, another three months later, the second new screen also developed issues, first having issues auto-setting the brightness and later developing lines across the screen, and now is completely unusable. I have no idea what caused these issues — nothing happened to my laptop during either of these times — and I can only guess that the third party screens from Amazon are just sometimes defective.
