I saw a GREAT show there last Saturday (Rick Michel/Tribute to Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack); truly professional in every way, from the sound and lighting to the live big band, which was fabulous and in just the right style, and not too loud, either. The headliner (Michel) was dead-on with a whole range of impressions, whether singing or speaking- even doing Johnny Carson and Peter Falk as Columbo, plus a duet between Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr., going back and forth in a split-second, and never missing a beat. Amazing. Hope they bring him back. The center presents a musical entertainment series that is a really great value, especially if you take the whole subscription. They've done a fantastic job of converting the space into a theatre-like setting, with comfortable seating and nothing blocking your view of the stage. It's reasonably easy to get to, there's plenty of parking (although the layout isn't obvious and it's a bit of a walk), many nearby options for pre- or post-show dining, the rest rooms are unusually pristine, and the people have been friendly. So why no fifth star? As a multipurpose facility, seating is temporary and a bit uncomfortable, the stage has no angle so it's hard to see well from anywhere but the first few rows, and the sound system routinely overpowers the performers. Read moreWe attended a Birthday Party for a gentleman who had turned 96 years old who is a voice teacher. There was many of his students there who with his help put on mini Operas. We stayed long enough to sing Happy Birthday and left when they had intermission, stopped to have snacks. Not enough Handicapped accessible parking. Had to walk from the back area around the building. Bathroom the woman's had no handicapped stall which means someone has to assist a person up and down. Hallway to bathroom is very narrow one going and one coming with a walker have difficulty getting...
