Linda's Nail & Spa — Local services in Pineville

I have been here 8-9 times. The first 6 or seven times were Great. Good service, nice shop. The last couple of times have not been so good. Linda herself has done my nails 3 times. Each time she has stayed on her phone. This last time she was so distracted by her phone conversation that when she asked me how I was and I replied "not that good I my husband just died." She smiled, nodded her head and said "good, good". I took no offense. I let her do my nails. She stayed on the phone the whole time, which is unprofessional in my opinion. She rushed thru, I got an off white color and she only put 2 coats on when it could have used 3. She Hardly worked on my cuticles and rough edges. The young man that did my feet looked so down and unhappy I said to him "you look like you hate this job." He spent very little time on my feet, they were just as rough when I left as when I came in.. I didn't say anything about the service because of my own disposition at the time. I tipped the young man paid my bill and left. Like I said I have had good service here before so I will give them 2 more chances. If there is no improvement I will be looking to take my business...

Everything was good with the lady who did My nails up until I told her I didn't want what she was offering simply because I couldn't afford it..she had a very bad attitude after that, she was unwelcoming, she made a smart comment about me to her coworkers, she was being extra rough as she was doing my nails, huffing & puffing, rolling her eyes n stuff..she did absolutely everything with an attitude & my nails came out ugly. She could have done a much better job had she kept her feelings to herself & just did her job. She was so unprofessional. I was actually going to come back when I got my taxes & spend big money on what I really wanted but after the poor service I received today & the disrespect, I would never step foot in Linda's nail spa again. This is another reason why we need more black nail techs & black owned businesses in central louisiana.. BECAUSE WE ARE NOT WELCOME! They don't give 2 cents about us, THEY JUST...

I've used this place several times before. It's a hit and a miss when I go. I would say this time was the worst. I took my daughter with me to her us mani/pedi and eyebrows done. The pedis were great but when it came to us getting out nails done. The guy who did my toes did my nails also and he didn't even ask me what color I wanted for my fingers just went ahead and used the same color on my I got on my toes. Then he was sloppy and made my nails uneven. I'm still filling them myself and missed spots on my fingers. He saw them and would pause but just continued as if I didn't see them. So I told the ladies what my daughter wanted dipped and when I look up someone is putting acrylic on her. They couldn't even sit me beside her. None of the ladies were talking to each other. I'm very disappointed when I paid $200 to have a girl time with my daughter. I will not be going back and will not recommend this...
