China Queen Buffet — Restaurant in Pineville

So, i used to come to this resturant all the time with my parents when i was growing up. But we just stoped going many years ago. Yesterday, i decided to give it a shot even though my parents and family warned me it had went down hill. When i arrived i was seated very quickly whitch was nice, but when i walked up to the buffet everything was almost empty (not including the things that wernt even put out, but that may be a covid thing or something?) And the things that were full-ish looked/tasted like it had been sitting out for hours without being refreshed. None of it was even hot (just a bit warm not even near 165°F) besides the soup, which would have been nice it it wasn't so salty it could give soy sauce a run for its money. The only thing that was good was the white rice, and even then it wasent great. I really loved this resturant growing up, and the place looks exactly like it did back then. Whitch considering its been 15 years may not be such a good thing. Total waste of 18$ (for one person)

Tl:Dr, the staff were freindly, but it was WAY over priced for old cold food with little flavor (unless stale counts) except salt.

Please bring back this resturant to its former glory, i hate seeing it like this, i had so many good...

Went here today with my wife and we wI'll not go again. The food was cold and chewy. We asked the waitress to come over to our table and we complained. We had only took 3 or 4 bites out of our food. She got some guy I don't know if he was the owner or manager. He said he would charge us $7.00 instead of $12.00. This was crazy we had to pay for something that we couldn't even eat or stomach. We had just walked in and hadn't been there 5 or 10 minutes. My wife asked to see the health rating, he stated they don't have health ratings in LA. Which we thought that to be strange. If I could I wouldn't give this place even a 1 if I couldn't. He claimed the food was fresh and that they change it out every 2 hours. My wife told him he was telling a lie because the food was not fresh at all. My wife also told him if we get sick with food poisoning that he was going to pay for our doctor visit. He stated that would not be his problem . Do yourself a favor stay away from this place. The health department needs to shut them down. Worst place I have...

First & last time visiting China Queen. Looks like a storage room upon entrance with the boxes piled up along the walls. It smells dirty when you walk in. Most of the lights are burnt. The Diet Pepsi tasted like medicine. Egg roll filling (cabbage) was still crispy. Crab cakes smelled horrid! The meat was sour/rotting. Inside of the fried fish was yellow through and through. Waitress never came back to the table to offer a refill, so my husband went in the back and refilled my son's drink himself. And the ice cream flavors are all mixed up. Not happy with our visit at all. $69 of eww for my family of 6. Not a bad price, but would have actually enjoyed a meal for less than half the price at Burger King! It's our own fault for not...
