Definitely check out this place before you go buy a new computer. They have refurbs coming in all the time that have better specs than the machine you are looking a purchasing. The top level machines at Randy's are better than anything you can buy at a computer store. 90 Day warranty/return. Nice people who really know computers.
Where I really think this place shines is there support for small businesses. They have the expertise to meet business needs. More knowledge in this store than the whole geek squad put together.
Here is my experience for a personal computer: Had a pleasant experience. I called to see what computers were available and told what I needed it for. When I walked in, I told him who I was and he immediately showed me one of his cheapest refurbs. Showed me the nicest machine in the store but didn't try to up-sell me at all. When I checked out they included every cable and adapter that I would need. They even included a regular monitor cable in case I wanted to hook it up to an older model without HDMI. The price of the computer included a nice keyboard and new looking optical mouse. Both wrapped in plastic with little if any wear. The stats on computer were way above anything new I was looking at online. Double the memory, quadruple the RAM and a faster processor. looking inside the machine it looks pristine. No dust or anything. Very happy with the purchase. Cash is prefered as they have to pay a credit card fee.
After setting it up at home, I was very impressed by it's speed, quiet SSD and overall quality. The windows install is nice and clean. It does not have all that bloatware or cr@pware that is originally installed by the computer...
Read moreI have used Randy's computers in the past and they were always great to work with, but moved about an hour away two years ago. Where I live there is not any computer services around so I found a company (that will remain unnamed) that was as closest to me that I could find and I contacted them when my computer would not turn on to try and fix my issue. They came out to my location, said they couldnt fix it on site and took it back to their shop. I stressed that I needed it back ASAP since it was very necessary for work. I did not hear back for two days, till 5pm on a Friday, that they thought the motherboard was bad and they didnt want to mess with it since it had water cooling, being a custom compuuter, and they were afraid to touch it. I immediately called Randy's Computers and Jason picked up. I told him the situation and said I could be there just before they close at 7PM. He said to come on and he would take a look. I went and picked up the computer from the other company and made it to Randy's about 6:30PM. I explained the situation and they got right to work. Jason and George worked on my system and stayed after they closed at 7PM till about 7:30 and got me back up and running by updating the bios. Then they proceeded to only charge me $50! Given how badly I needed it fixed and the fact that they stayed after to help me, I would have paid $500. I was beyond pleased and I told them that from now on I will go nowhere else for my computer needs. Highly...
Read moreThey did excellent work with my Wife computer! My wife is a Graphic Designer and having a working desktop computer is a necessity. I recently tried cloning her old HD to a SSD but it wasn’t completing correctly. Randy’s Computers seems to be the only ,if not one of the very few, computer repair companies around here that handles drive cloning! The gentleman was very courteous and carried the desktop in for me as well. The whole process took less than 20 min to fix the cloned SSD the computer would read the entire drive space! Their price was fair and affordable as well! They seemed to have the vast experience, knowledge, and software tools necessary to complete the job as well as answer any...
