VIRIDIEN Patio + Fireplace — Local services in Pineville

We have spent the last two years building a custom home, a process that began in the height of the pandemic supply chain challenges. We have engaged countless suppliers, contractors, subcontractors and the like over the course of the project. Needless to say, there have been speed bumps, and outright cliffs of despair while we navigated this complex process. We were introduced to Viridien (whilst still Firehouse...) as they are on our general contractors approved vendor list for a fireplace. We needed two fireplaces - one for inside and one for outside. We hit walls, not speedbumps, with both units. This was not a fault of Viridien, but the contractors engaged or the manufacturers of the units. Sparing the reader gory details, issues ranged from having the wrong unit shipped, broken parts, poor contractor work to outright defects in what was shipped. Veridien, our sales rep Bob and the store manager Claudia have been there for us, 100% of the time, every time. Integrating with the manufacturers, getting replacement parts, contractors and the like, Bob was always there for us. They never, ever lost sight of their customers best interest and satisfaction. EVER. We have also purchased beautiful patio furniture and an umbrella from Veridien, with much satisfaction. We directly worked with two South Charlotte employees Brooks Jenkins in sales and Chris Hearn Furniture Technician and they both were outstanding representatives of Viridien. Brooks researched and advised what sling cloth designs would go well with the four patio chairs we had purchased more than twenty years ago. Brooks was so helpful and communicated and responded quickly with any questions we had and kept us informed of when the sling fabric would be in. Brooks also communicated how Viridien would pick up and return the furniture to our patio and Chris and his team followed through picking up and restoring and returning our patio furniture that was ripped and now we feel like we have patio chairs that are just like they came out of the box as brand new furniture. We have now used these four re-slung chairs now for a few months and the quality of the workmanship of Chris is very evident and Chris was able to replace end caps that had deteriorated over twenty plus years in the sun. Visited the warehouse were Chris does his magic of restoring all kinds of patio furniture and was so impressed with all the kinds of restoration and craftsmanship Chris accomplishes.

I have mixed feelings on this review. I bought a large Green Egg which I love. The sales process was great. Amy was very helpful in helping me decide which size Egg and Eggessories to purchases. The two gentlemen that delivered the Egg were pleasant and arrived on time. When the delivery guys opened the Tamper Top to the Green Egg they noticed a chip out of the top. They took a picture and told me that someone would get back to me by Monday. The delivery was on a Friday so I was fine with someone getting back to me on Monday. No call on Monday. I had received an email from the the General Manager, Jonathan asking me to do a review and to contact him if I had any issues. I sent him an email 11 days ago and no response. I also called the store 8 days ago and told them my issues. Amy put in a service request and no one followed up on it. I called today, 2 weeks after the Egg was delivered and talked to Amy again. She apologized and told me that she would talk to the service dept. She quickly called back and told me that they would be delivering a new Cap on Wednesday.
