MiGuo Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Pineville

When you enter this business, the MiGuo Bubble Tea encompasses the immediate entrance and BonChon is a full service restaurant in back. And they are now offering dining in as and option. All of the staff members that I encountered were very helpful, courteous, friendly and personable. We both ordered variations of the Bubble Tea, which I found to be exceptionally tasty, while we were waiting for our order, which we took to go. Plastic dividers were in place and all of the staff members were wearing their masks. Sanitizing lotion/gel was readily available at the front counter. The parking, entranceway and the restaurant was handicap accessible. All surfaces, countertops and glass partitions were extremely clean and well-maintained. We ordered the family meal, which was quite plentiful. There was a multitude of choices for customizing your wings and drumsticks. The wings and drumsticks were all above average in size and exceptionally crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The fried rice was nicely portioned and fresh. Our sides were the coleslaw and fries. The slaw had a nice crispness as well. The fries were not heavily seasoned and still retained a nice crunch, even though we didn't eat until we got back home. And...there was plenty for leftovers. I highly recommend this particular restaurant and treat yourself as well to a Bubble Tea. Ours were unique, very tasty and refreshing. So the first 2 times I ordered the passionfruit black tea with mango popping boba and a 30% sweetness. Both of those were very delicious. For some reason the next 3 times I ordered that same exact drink, they ended up tasting a bit off and not as sweet either. I almost couldn't drink it those times because it had this strange taste almost like it was too perfumey. I don't know if anyone has ever accidentally sprayed a bit of perfume in their mouth before (because I have when I was younger, lol) that's exactly what I taste now when I order that drink which really bummed me out since the first 2 times they were great! Also, like I said, I've ordered it the same every time and always say 30% sweetness and it was perfectly sweet to my liking for the first 2 orders but for some reason now tastes a lot more watered down and same thing with the popping boba. They were so flavorful and nicely sweet the first 2 times and now most of them were severely watered down. There were only 6 Pearl's that tasted sweet like the first 2 times out of all the boba Pearl's. The bubble tea was delicious but our order was wrong, and the customer service was some of the worst I've had. I understand with the pandemic that ordering might be different. ( also the restaurant wasn't busy) My boyfriend and I went here for the first time to grab boba; they had a table outside that said "order here" so we looked at the menus and stood there for 5-6 minutes waiting for someone to take our order; a waitress comes by and informs us that we needed to circle our order on the menu (which should be posted as instructions so customers know). So we circled our order then waited even longer to give them our order.(The entire time multiple employees were going in and out walking that just walked past us not even asking if we needed help) When we were waiting a waitress asked if we wanted to go ahead and pay; I wasn't sure about the process so when i took out my card; she yanked it out of my hand.
