I feel like each time I go here, it get's worse and worse. Yesterday I stopped in to get a couple items: deli meat, bread, some veggies, milk, etc. Cost me $29 which is absurd for the few things I got.
My biggest complaint though, is this: I first stopped in produce to grab a container of the small heads of mixed greens. I get them because they last longer than the mixed greens that come in a bag. I picked up the first container and you could clearly see that the produce inside was brown and slimy. I grabbed the next and it was the same. The 3 remaining containers were all in the same condition. Luckily, there was a guy restocking the green peppers, and after asking, he politely went to the back and got me a container of fresh produce. He was very kind and helpful. I told him that what was on the shelves were looking pretty rough. His response was "I told my manager but they don't want me to remove it from the shelves". The saddest part about this is that I completely believe him. I'm sure some poor sap is going to purchase a container without even noticing, and the store makes a quick buck while not caring about the integrity of the company. In addition, I grabbed a bag of Bolthouse Farms baby carrots....and they were all floating in their own rotten liquid which ended up on my hands and stunk. Awesome guys.
My last complaint is this: As I was checking out, I was completely caught off guard as an employee was making penis jokes to another employee for anyone to hear. The dude with the long hair and glasses, who stands up in the cigarette area (I'm going to assume he's a manager as I always see him here), was literally talking loudly to a cashier in an empty lane and making penis jokes regarding "meat sticks". I mean, come on......be inappropriate in your own time behind closed doors. We all do. Just don't put it on display in your place of employment. It's childish.
Anyways, this place just keeps going down the drain. It's worth it to drive the extra couple miles to a different grocery store to get better prices, better quality and...
