You won't be disappointed if choosing Eggs & Moore as your regular dining spot! Not only does it have a family-friendly atmosphere, it is family owned and operated. The employees keep the laughs and smiles coming as they know most of their customers by name. Let's talk about food. Eggs & Moore has a large variety of breakfast and lunch meals that will leave you stuffed. I tried a few dishes my first time, each one as tasty as the last. I orderd a vegetarian omelet, cheesy potatoes and a Rachel. The omelet was folded perfectly as a wrap. Once I cut inside, the savory ingredients were visible. Feta cheese, spinach, green peppers, onions and tomatoes blended together with eggs and burst with flavor! Next were the evenly grated potatoes covered in cheddar cheese that melt in my mouth. The Rachel was a special the day I stopped but it rated one of the best I have had...believe me, I order them often and am picky! Now the atmosphere is what really reels you in to love Eggs & Moore. Decorated with family pictures, humorous signs and artwork it creates a homestyle ambiance. Structurally, the store is handicap friendly and easily located. In summary, if you are looking to bring your kids, a date or even just treat yourself you WILL be MOORE than PLEASED with in Eggs &...
Read moreMost of the reviews I saw of this place looked positive, but after a terrible experience, I filtered for specifically negative reviews, and found a common theme.. There is absolutely a reason that people of color have expressed discomfort here, and further expressed feeling actively disliked and unwelcome.
I placed a to go order here and was only inside the restaraunt for approx 2 minutes to pick it up. During that two minutes, myself and my three young children were wildly uncomfortable. The older woman with white hair standing by the register looked at us with what I can only describe as disgust. She scowled at us the entire time and refused to speak to me at all, despite the fact that I was standing directly in front of her to ask for my order. Another waitress actually had to come over and ask if she could help me because this woman would not speak to me. I have never been inside before and had no prior interaction with her or anyone from the restaraunt so I've had to draw my own assumptions about why she clearly disliked us, and seeing the other negative reviews have only made that assumption more likely.
I will not be returning, obviously, and I would urge others to proceed...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I stumbled onto this little hidden gem while visiting from out of town, and wow—what a find!
We were seated right away and greeted by the sweetest mother-daughter waitressing duo, Ireland and Tiffany. Since we’re not local, we love asking for recommendations, and theirs did not disappoint. We tried the Mexican Scrambler, the Yinzer Scrambler, and a Banana Foster Waffle to share. Every dish was delicious, but that waffle… absolutely unforgettable.
Tiffany gave us a little history of the restaurant, sharing how it all started with her sister’s dream. She also told us her dad makes the best waffles you’ll ever eat—and she wasn’t kidding. The Banana Foster Waffle literally melted in our mouths. I’m still thinking about it two days later!
This spot is nearly two hours from our home, but we’re already planning a return trip so we can bring our child back to experience it. The food, the hospitality, and the heart behind this place made our visit truly memorable.
Thank you, Ireland and Tiffany, for the wonderful service, and to the whole family for creating such a warm, welcoming restaurant. We can’t wait...
