The Deutschtown Market — Local services in Pittsburgh

Not only is this market extortionary in pricing, they don’t even put prices on their products to add insult to injury. If you want to take advantage of gentrification and resell butter from aldi for over ten dollars a pack, fine, but please do so with honesty and integrity. This place has a huge beer selection and has prices on NOTHING, so you don’t know how much anything is until you get to the register. $20 for a 6 pack of beer that’s $10 at the beer distributor on Federal St. a few blocks away. If things are going to be overpriced and extortionary, fine, but at least be honest about it. I have at this point had one too many disappointing experiences with the pricing at this store and won’t be coming back, and recommend others don’t until they are transparent...

Chicken Sandwich and waffle fries were great. I'm going to have to try the Italian Hoagie next. Their sandwiches are made fresh to order or there's grab n go. The store is very clean and bright. Both the employees were great. Friendly and quick. And they have so much other stuff I didn't try. Slushies, Ice Cream, Milk Shakes. I think there was like a Blendini machine in the front. Looked through the grocery aisles while my sandwich was cooking. Prices looked about the same as Giant Eagle but the place was...

The Deutschtown Market is the place to be on East Ohio. The selection is everything from soda and candy to milkshakes and hot food items. They sell your home needs like cleaning supplies and laundry detergent! The store is VERY clean and the staff is helpful and always smiling! Best convenience store on East O!!!!...
