Berkshire Mattress Recycling — Local services in Pittsfield

I took 7 pieces: 2 mattresses and 5 box springs to Pittsfield at their drop-off location. Happens to be an empty lot with containers where they put the mattresses and then have them taken away. Made a phone call - arranged a time for drop off - got there 10 minutes early and the person to help showed up just after me so no waiting.

Great to have this given so difficult to dispose of mattresses in landfills.

My hope and suggestion is more information on how this works given it is a start up and not in full stride yet. It works -- only $30 per mattress or box spring -- but having texts come with some sort of identification as you who it is from [ie - business name] and fuller information [who and how we pay] will only help in the...
