Teddys Pizza inc — Restaurant in Pittsfield

Ordered a large house special on a Wednesday and it was severely under cooked. It was literally only half cooked. I should have called that night, but I'm an exhausted working mom with a young child, additionally i live 40 min away, and its right before the holidays so I ended up calling Sunday. The owner was out of town and they took a message to call me back but the message only said my name and large cheese so I never received a call back at all. A few days later, on Wednesday, which was exactly a week later mind you, I called again and finally got ahold of the owner. Mike, the owner, was promptly extremely rude to me. He hadnt been informed of this situation at all. He instead informed me that since I didn't notify him the day I had the issue he would not be fixing this situation because according to him there's no validity in my claim because I waited any amount of time to notify him. He also made sure to let me know he " stands behind everything that walks out the door" which apparenrly includes severely underdone food. I just wanted another pizza so I could faitlrly assess this business, which I hadn't been to in a long time. I guess I got a fair assessment, just not the one I expected. Mike you need to work on your manners, and the quality of pizza because you shouldn't be standing behind uncooked food, and certainly not with such an unnecessary attitude. Wow... First time going here. From out of town. I went to go pick up the food and found the atmosphere to be really nice until I started to pay attention. I was told to go to the bar for my pickup order. 3 girls were behind the bar on their phones and didn't notice me standing there for a solid 2 minutes. When one finally did, she said "don't mind me, just checking out the Amazon Prime deals" then ran off to pack up my order. While I waited, I watched the rest of the very young staff all stand around, take selfies with eachother and gossip. There was one girl behind the bar that rang me up and made a comment about how nobody else apparently wanted to do any work. As I'm still waiting for my order, 2 patrons sit at the bar and order a beer. The bar tender didnt know the selection on tap and when she went to pour one into a glass, so much foam came out and had to get poured down the drain.. she then wiped down the side of the glass with her bare hand and gave it to the customer without them noticing. Thankfully my food came out shortly thereafter. I didnt have high hopes on the food of based on what I had already seen but my whole family really enjoyed the food. If I was a local, I would never eat here in person because I feel like I'd have a terrible time. Get the staff in line and maybe you'd have an all around great restaurant because right now it's...

I ordered a small pizza and a small Greek salad. The delivery fee is a whopping 5$. This is not door dash lol. I live about 2 minutes drive (0.8 miles on google maps) and I got my pizza with my salad for 33$!!!! They said a half hour to 45 minutes which is standard, but they arrived in about an hour and 15 minutes. The place couldn’t have been busy since it was a Wednesday evening after 7:30pm. The pizza was undercooked, and inedible. The pizza was also only an 8 inch pizza, maybe enough for a 10 year old kid. The salad was a side salad about 6oz. which is also only enough for that same 10 year old kid during the same meal.

When the driver showed up, he even apologized before handing me the so called meal.

I went the next day to get my receipt. It was a dollar and change less than what the kid charged me over the phone for some reason and the owner had the gaul to tell me he wasn’t ripping me off.😂

The new owners lost a pizza lover on their first try. It’s too bad because I used to love that place.

Trust me! Go to CRUST! It’s across the street from this horrible “establishment”, Teddy’s, and CRUST is 1000 times better. It’s Manhattan style pizza just the way I like it.
