STORE MANAGER IS NOT QUALIFIED TO MANAGE THIS LOCATION BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS. Civil conversation and this wasn't a "heated moment", he just was unwilling to do a return with my receipt in hand for 120 dollars for a Milwaukee vacuum that was right out of the box. No scratches no use NO reason to deny my return. His reasonings, he didn't have enough cash to do my return. This is unacceptable. I believe he is lieing to me due to the fact that it's at the end of the day when the store is full of cash. They dropped it already in the vault? Please they don't leave the store with no money in the register and even if they did there was several customers paying cash and the bottom line is this manager (excuse me I forgot to ask his name but I will be and I'll fix this reply and add it) was not doing his job. Point blank. Policy says the store does returns and he's refusing. No cash is a excuse. Home Depot any location does thousands of dollars a day in sales and if he wanted to he would have and could have done a whopping 120 dollar return new item receipt in hand and packaging and instructions you name it. He mentioned his supervisor was on vacation and If the manager can't keep customers happy and can't handle issues that the customers have when the supervisor is on vacation then a new manager is necessarry and I'm going to review you and I hope that anyone who reads this chooses to spend your money else where unless this manager and store gets their act right. Last but not least he was what looked like influenced by his cashier who said she didn't have enough cash. Called the manager and manager said the same problem. $120.00. go get the cash then mr.incompetent manager (name unknown my apologies). I would hate to think the decisions this guy makes with more stressful situations. And is he the manager and managing this store or is his cashier making the calls. Hours are from opening to 8 on Sunday. This location should be fully operational untill then. If it's not then wake up make your bed put on your shoes, tie them tight and make it fully operational sir. Manage this location so that it is. Especially when your super is away. I'll be notifying coperate and the supervisor when he's back. I'll also be applying for manager position and if I become the new manager, this store will be customer friendly, ran so that customers are satisfied all while maintaining daily floor operations and all other manager duties. If the return is valid then you bet you will be getting your 120 dollar return. This is America. This is a fail for home Depot. They should Rename this location incompetent manager Depot. We got em in stock and ready to fail Elementary customer service. FAIL. GET IT RIGHT OR MOVE ALONG MR UNKNOWN incompetent manager sir. Thank you. Small issue and huge fail. No big deal for me. I go tomorrow. What time will you have cash in the register? Oh I have to guess? Will I have to ask the customers waiting in line how much thier purchases are? Maybe I can loan you guys some cash so you can provide your services and stand true to your policy. Sir yes sir. Step it up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have dealt with Home Depot twice, over the last couple of months and both times it was a fiasco. I order items on line and only half the order arriv d( it was a large order of the he same product. They refunded me for the undelivered portion and reordered the missing portion, which didn't arrive at all. I was in the Gard n Department and couldn't find anybody to help me locate a pla t, so I asked the cashier and she didn't know, but tried calling two other employees, neither of which answered their phone. I went inside and asked two employees if they knew if they had the specific plant in stock. They just star d at me like idiots, began talking to each other about somethings ng else and walked away. I saw a tree I decided to buy, but could take it with me and would have it picked up the next day. I payed for the tree, they tagged it and set it aside. When my boyfriend went to pick.it up the next day, he called me telling me they couldn't find it and for how m.to Pick.put another tree (the one I purchased was the last one of a specific color). I told them it should be next to the register booth, in the garden department, with a tag on it and that is where they go and it. Imagine finding the purchased tree in the garden department and not the store. A staff person spent me to me, in my boyfriends phone telling me that they do not do will call for the garden department, like me it was my fault, to which I responded that they need to tell their staff, rather than han blaming me. They pay slave wages, so the staff are rarely knowledgeable about the inventory, in any of the departments and that, combined with poor customer service, is why I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will never buy another appliance from them again. The money I saved on the appliance sale does not make up for the bad experience I had with their installation fiasco. I ordered a dishwasher online to replace my existing one. I signed up for delivery and installation, including an installation parts kit. It could not be a bigger mistake. I called the store 2 days in advance of the scheduled date and was told the online installations were outsourced to GE. Since GE is a major appliance maker I expected a GE technician in a GE truck would come up and get the job done. Instead 2 guys showed up in a Penske rental truck, one of whom did not speak English. The other one immediately informed me that they could not do the installation because the sink did not have an air gap and their company (which was not disclosed and not GE) would not let them install the air gap, an inexpensive part. They took the dishwasher out of the box and left it in the house. I subsequently hired an excellent local plumber who came out a few days later and got the job done. The licensed plumber said that an air gap is only necessary in new construction, so it wasn't necessary in a 40 year old house. I suspect the Home Depot delivery drivers took one look at the old dishwasher and decided it would take them longer than they had allotted, so they made up an excuse and took off. At the very least they did not appear qualified to install anything and obviously not up to the task. I would give Home Depot a zero review if I could. I recommend that you buy your appliances from a local store that knows what they are doing when it comes to...
