Dr.Taylor is amazing at what he does! Long story short, i have been playing volleyball since high school to now and the last 2 years my right rotator cuff just couldnt handle the amount of swinging i was doing on a regular basis. I went to 2 orthopedic places to see what i could do to help it. One doctor told me to stop playing and do PT. The other doctor told me to limit myself and PT. If anyone knows me i dont know how to do that, it is not in my nature. I started crossfit back up last year and couldnt do very heavy weights on over head movements. This is where i met Dr. Taylor at a session on proper back movements to prevent back pain or future injuries at the gym. He asked if i have had any back pain, i said no, but i do after i have to pick green beans in the garden, lol. This is where i told him about my shoulder pain. We cordinated to start some PT. I was optimistic because i have already done this twice and wasted my money both times. So i went into this with a very negative mentality and what i thought of Physical Therapist. So i did all the excercises he told me to do and trusted the programming. Not only did Dr. Taylor help me with my day to day pain, but he also got me to where no one else did. I can play volleyball again and not have to worry about pain or tearing my rotator cuff. Dr. Taylor has literally strengthened, helped my mobility, improved overhead movements in crossfit without any pain, and improved my volleyball game with his programming that he set up. Numbers dont lie, we just finished our last session of PT together and my range of motion from when we starter to now for my shoulder got better by 10%. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor if you have any soreness or pain. Amazing person and...
Read moreAbout 6 weeks ago, I could barely walk or even sleep because of pain in my left knee. I was terrified that I had torn something. I workout about 4-5 times a week at a pretty high level. Running, jumping, lifting heavy, and doing mostly athletic style movements would best describe my workout regime. The pain in my knee was massively restricting me to do most of what I love to do, which was frustrating. I set up a time to meet with Taylor after a workout on a Saturday morning. He had a booth set up to talk with members who were dealing with pain or nagging injuries - I took advantage of this opportunity. He asked very granular questions about my knee and had a very articulate way of identifying what was going on. After that initial consultation, he invited me to his office to further examine my knee. This is where I truly learned how great Taylor is as what he does. We went through a series of mobility movements, stretches, strength testing, etc… the attention to detail was crazy. He was able to find a few areas that was causing major pain in my knee, and luckily for me, I didn’t tear anything, nor did I need to go get an MRI. 6 weeks in, I can confidently say that I feel better than ever. His physical therapy sessions are process driven and designed to gradually improve areas that are the root of the problem you’re having. I have learned so much from Taylor about pre-workout routines, stretching at home, strength isolation, ways to improve flexibility, and so much more. It has been life changing for me. I am extremely grateful for Taylor and his professional guidance throughout this process. I highly recommend his services. Even if you’re experiencing a smaller, yet nagging issue, Taylor...
Read moreThe best decision I ever made in my triathlon training was reaching out to Dr. Taylor Wright. He has been the biggest lifesaver in helping me bounce back from injury and keeping me pain-free so I can achieve my training goals. I didn’t know what to expect from physical therapy because I haven’t had the best experiences in the past with different methods of injury treatment, but Taylor is beyond talented, and you notice improvements almost immediately. He truly listens and gets to know you well so he can provide you with the right exercises and different solutions to strengthen you and keep you healthy. I genuinely look forward to each of our visits because 1. he’s just a genuinely awesome human to be around, but most importantly, 2. I know I will walk away from every session better than before. In addition, Taylor is incredibly responsive outside of our visits, providing me with insights and resources whenever I have anything bugging me or need reassurance on my training with how my body feels. He has, without a doubt, made me a stronger and faster triathlete, built my confidence, and made me feel empowered and reassured any time I feel doubts around pain throughout my training. I couldn’t imagine training towards my next big goal of an Ironman without having him as a resource. As a former D1 swimmer, I wish I would’ve had Taylor in my life years ago because I know I would’ve been an even better athlete with his...
