I KNEW something was off. So when we got home, I added it up again (since I never got a receipt) on the app and it came to $31.55 (0.37 tax).

I call and ask for the manager and ATTEMPT to start telling her what happened. Somehow, she already knew what I ordered! Rattled it off like she ordered it herself. Seems to me they already knew because they overcharged me and knew I'd be calling in.

I begin to tell her we were overcharged. She would not let me talk. She interrupted my every other word until I said: "Can you please let me talk?" She said she would. I told her there was no way that meal was $39.

She proceeds to interrupt me AGAIN and say yes it is because the drinks were an upcharge of a dollar each and the large sides were also an upcharge. They were MEALS so how was there an upcharge? So I ask why was it less on the app?

She had the nerve, the gall, and the gumption to tell me because the app is always cheaper and when you come in they charge you more and I must have had some rewards. Which I didn't. I said: "You all charge $7.65 more for coming through the drive thru??" She said yes like it was her proudest moment!

Her attitude was just like the the prices and the food: unnecessary and nasty. It was our first and last time. We won't be back. This location has barely been open a year and already is on the downward spiral and on it's way to less than 3.5 stars.

But I'm sure they are turning quite the profit overtalking and overcharging customers!

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen 9980 Johnstown Road New Albany, OH....

My husband stopped by here to get us some sandwiches on the way home from work this evening. He waited over twenty minutes for them to bring his order out to where they had him waiting in the parking lot. This was two chicken sandwiches and three sides.

The fries seemed old and stale and halfway through his sandwich, he discovered it was raw and pink in the middle. 🤢 He called the restaurant to ask for a refund. The manager said had an unconcerned/slightly annoyed attitude. Other staff could be heard joking loudly, laughing, and horsing around in the background. The manager said she could give him a refund if that's what he wanted and asked that he bring his sandwich back in.

My husband drove all the way back over there to find the manager and many of the staff members sitting in the dining room. The manager told him he'd have to come back tomorrow if he wanted a refund even though she offered him a refund over the phone! She said all she could do was make him a new sandwich. He left his disgusting undercooked sandwich on the table where they were all lounging and left. We will never go back.

These workers obviously do not care about their jobs or their customers. We thought since this restaurant was opening in New Albany, they would actually be good, but, sadly, it's the same caliber of employees they hire in Columbus...

I went through the drive-thru at 3:00 p.m. there was maybe one couple in the entire restaurant. Probably about six people working. I ordered the quarter pound popcorn shrimp with french fries and a Dr pepper. I waited at the second window after placing my order until 3:30 for 30 minutes. So I backed my car up and some lady came up to the front second window or the first window where you pay + I said I've been waiting 30 minutes. How long is it going to take to get an order of popcorn shrimp and french fries? And she said oh okay that's coming up. We're sorry ma'am. I drive up back up to the first window. Wait another ten minutes and when she brings me my sack of food her excuse was they were waiting on the biscuits to come out. That's what caused it so long to take so long. I said okay. Took my food drove back. Started eating it on the way home cuz I was so hungry. And lo and behold the biscuit is ice cold. I'm really disappointed because I do love Popeye's fried Chicken but I will never go back to...
