Hendricks Live! — Local services in Plainfield

We went to see the comic Ben Bailey, Cash Cab guy. The show was great. I laughed so hard I cried. But wanted to share about the venue. Hendricks Live. Beautiful place. Very clean. Nice bathrooms. Spacious seating. Intimate venue. Probably seats 300 to 500. It Felt very personal. The volunteer attendants were very nice and helpful. The popcorn was tasty. We drove from northern Indiana just to see Ben but we loved the venue. And sampled some local restaurants (not chains) while in the area. We have been to the Honeywell center in Wabash up by where we live a lot and we felt like it was very similar. The parking for ADA was like right outside the back door. Very close. Plus there's a lot west of the venue that was easily navigable and there looked to be a parking garage east of the venue. That is such a PERFECT venue you have there!!! It strikes the perfect balance. The size: It has a POWERFUL impression on you because it's warm, intimate & cozy, without feeling crowded or bunched up, But the experience is of a GRAND Arena. The flow of the building space/construction core i.e. placement of major refreshment counters and restrooms, the elevators,the lobby area. Perfect sized theatre!!!! Just LOVELY and can't wait to see the meeting spaces. This is a rather new venue. It is very well designed and maintained ... and clean. Saw the Hendricks County Symphony perform. Great program. Well done. Venue accoustics are very good as well. You can also park in the parking garage across Center Street for ... (wait for it) ... free. During intermission, you can purchase refreshments in the venue's lobby.
