Two Chicks Whisky Business — Restaurant in Plainfield

I live in Plainfield and have been to this bakery 3 times but was unable to purchase anything. The reviews all say their bakery items are delicious but I can’t say . My latest experience was today Dec. 23. We went to buy cookies for our family gathering this week. We stopped in on Saturday December 21st. They do not have any cookies because they were filling private orders. They wouldn’t take an order from us but said they would have cookies Monday on a first come first serve basis. My husband went a half hour before they said they would open to get a tray of cookies. When he got there they told him they were only selling private orders and had no cookies for sale after telling us otherwise on Saturday. So his trip was in vain. We are Plainfield residents and do not understand why they have a storefront if they only serve private orders??????? We went 5 days before Christmas to order cookies and were denied the opportunity. I contacted the WONDERFUL woman at Two Chicks Whisky Business who selflessly made a crème brûlée cheese cake for my daughter’s birthday with just a 2 day notice. 🥲 initially I asked & she did not have time for the order. As our conversation went on & she found out how some unfortunate circumstances were why I was so last minute. She also discovered we are a military family. Coincidently, her son had just graduated Army basic training. All of a sudden she said she wanted to squeeze in time for the cheese cake 😇. And THEN when we picked it up she said it was free of charge!! She hoped my daughter would enjoy it & hoped her week had gotten better. 😳🥲 The cheese cake was phenomenal 😋! Using them for our wedding was THE BEST decision! We go into the store all the time to try new things or get our favorites so we knew we had to use them at our wedding! We worked directly with Paige. She handled the numbers of each item for the order, made the items, delivered, and set up. She was on time. Everything looked perfect, but more importantly it ALL tasted amazing! We got so many compliments throughout the night from our guests. I've often heard wedding cakes gets wasted but our desserts did not!
