3 for breakfast this morning. Food was ok. However DO NOT ORDER HOT TEA. You will get generic tea bags and pay $3.29 per bag and $3.29 for each refill bag. They DO NOT Inform you of this prior to serving you. They just add it to the bill even if they have already given you your bill they take it back and add it without telling you. It would be different if it was good flavorful tea, but it is not. And they will not take it off your bill. $6.58 for 2 cups of tea...! Then when we asked to speak with the manger, we were sent over another waitress. Needless to say they just lost 3 local customers who will share this with the community. I've been in the food/beverage industry for many years, it is poor business practices. The money is one thing, but the importance is informing your customer. We will not be returning. Total bill for breakfasts for 3 (croissant sandwiches w/ hashbrowns) 1 water, 1 coffee and 1 tea(2 tea bags) $42.23 Tea is Farmers Brothers Black Tea single bag. A box of 100 is $13.49 so 1 tea bag is approximate 13 cents... What...
Read moreOmg I can not say enough about this place let's start with the fact that that food is freaking unbelievable. The bacon is delicious so order an extra side. Always check the special board on your way in the door on the left because they serve them huge. And don't hesitate if you wish something special cause they pull it off with a smile. Honestly I took a pain in the butt friend for breakfast and these women chewed him up with a smile I roped her extra just for making him look dumb. And she never quit making me grin start to finish. You know the kinda friend I'm talking about the one always trying to make the waitress look bad so he doesn't have to leave a good tip these waitresses earn there money with a smile on . The restroom was immaculate. I can't not give 7 stars or I would cause this place deserves and earns it with every...
Read moreMy wife and I come here every Friday while the kiddos are in school. We love this place so much. Such a warm place with the best staff in town. They know their customers and make a point to get personal with us. The food here is excellent. I usually get the same thing because I am a creature of habit....pancakes with eggs and toast and bacon or sausage. Today, I broke habit and got a Monte Cristo with fries. And I must say, best fries anywhere. So crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with much flavor. If in Plainfield do as the quakers do, eat here. And I'm just adding to this post 1 year later, I finally made it a point to personally tell the owner of this establishment how much we love this place...
