The Hardware Store — Local services in Plainfield

I have used these guys as exclusively as I can for the almost six years I have lived in town. I used my local do it Best at my last residence and when I moved I switched to these guys as my local store. The staff here is always helpful. most of the time when I go in it's grab and go and leave, but today I had a weird side project. What I thought would be good for it was countered with a couple of other ideas from the knowledgeable staff. chances are I will actually take one of their ideas and implement that.

It's not very big, it doesn't carry every last little thing, but if they have what you need it's the place to go.

Also, just because it isn't on any of the signs above the aisles doesn't mean it isn't there. Ask if you can't...

I went in about an hour before closing. They weren't busy. I was getting propane tanks filled. They were very quick to help. Drive right around and they were already ready to fill them. Guy was friendly. Drive back around went in and paid. So overall, good friendly staff that knows what they are doing, they get you in and out in a very timely matter. PLUS their prices on propane is SUPER CHEAP! WILL BE A FREQUENT CUSTOMER...

Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I have stopped going to the bigger stores (Lowes, Menards, etc) because they always have what I am looking for! I believe in shopping local and smaller stores, and there's a reason. I get a better experience every time! Pay this store a visit, you'll see...
