Meijer gone down hill, Prices increase but you are expected to bag and check groceries, counters not big enough, employees in deli always standing, talking but do not have enough help to cook rotisserie chickens is what I was told. Really maybe if they quit chatting and actually worked. Ordered script Friday for stomach pain, it is Monday I am told I can get by 2 pm. What is happening? Should we have to wait on prescribed medication? I can not believe you can’t have extra bottle on hand. Having stomach pain bad enough what if was more dangerous situation. Believe me I leave comments all time, no one responds.!!! Sad what our world has become and we are expected to accept this! I left Kroger, I can leave Meijer. Maybe we should all start shopping small and quit giving our money where unappreciated.
One month later purchased a package of hamburger on 12 April. It was not discounted. Went to use it on 13 April. It was brown and had a foul odor I called spoke with Aaron., He continued to ask me what the expiration date was if I bought it at a discount, When you buy hamburger, it should be good for 2 to 3 days without turning brown, Have had this issue with Meat, And the milk is always 2 to 3 days away from expiration if it doesn’t already have a discount tag on it, It is due to one supplier, Why does it continue to happen? And if Meat is going to go bad the following day, it should not even be in the Meat case! Who wants to buy meat to use the following day and then it Is spoiled! This has been a continuous problem for the past few months, I was told I could exchange the hamburger, Just a note try and have a little better attitude with your customers, Aaron , I felt like it was a bother for him to come to the phone, His demeanor was not customer friendly!! This was great when it first open you never ran into these problems, What...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. I came back one week after purchasing to return a Samsung galaxy J3 mission. Limped in to the store on a bummed up knee from work this morning. Took the phone back to electronics dept, and told to go to customer service. 7 days since purchase. The phone suddenly had quit holding a charge for some unknown reason. At this time the associate, Janet, phone 2 people and someone named Jennifer told her I could return it with the receipt. I don't have my receipt and know damn well that Meijer is always happy to run your purchase history using your debit or credit card. When I let Miss Janet know that i was aware of this ability, she then scanned the package and I inserted my card in the reader. Sure enough they found receipt of the purchase. I told her I needed to leave it on the charger again for a while so I could charge it and remove my personal data then return to the store. When I came back to the store just 4 hrs later their story had changed. Now they refuse me any refund and cite their store policy. Which I had to ask for in writing, otherwise I would not have received it in writing at this time. If that is the policy then that should have been stated my first trip today. Why allow me the trouble of walking out and back in later. I had told them from the word go today that my knee was bother me and I was obviously limping. Piss poor customer service. No matter any policy, as a manager, if you state one thing and do another later what kind of manager are you? Ive spent a decent sum since moving near this store and had nothing negative to say about meijer. Now Ive had the WORST customer experience of my life. It's a shame because I do love shopping Meijer but this is my last time leaving any of them now as I will not...
Read moreDon’t come here. You’ll be racially profiled a wrongfully accused! Four of my friends and I decided to come here to shop one night and had the cops called on us because some manager lady thought we stole alcohol after we had already been shopping innocently for half an hour. The manager appearing to be in her late 30s/early 40s (probably due to artificial aging by loads of nicotine and marijuana) had not even checked the cameras to confirm there was any wrongdoing before calling the cops to waste their time and ours. The cops took us to her office and had us empty our pockets and ask us questions. When they asked the manager if she wanted us trespassed she went “not yet” as she did know for certain if we stole anything or not. There was lots of attitude coming from this woman seeming to be high as a kite. I should’ve asked the cops to check her car for reefer. She said she didn’t approach us because we were a group. Was it that or was it because we happened to have three young African American men in our group? The world may never know. I would’ve loved to stay an extra few minutes for her to check the footage and apologize to us after. Anyways don’t come here if you don’t want to be bothered by a high manager eager to accuse you and call the cops for something she thought to have happened. Walmart’s...
