The Frigid Frog & More — Restaurant in Plainfield

This is maybe my 4th or 5th time going there. Every time they put my soft serve in a different size cup after saying I want a large and still being charged $6.50 for a smaller cup Every time I go. I finally told the lady today that usually a large is this cup and I pointed to it and she said they shouldn't be putting my soft serve in that cup but she'll do it if that's what I want???? That makes no sense why have a cup labeled large soft serve for $4 on top of the ice cream if that's not the cup you are putting it in or the $$ amount you are going to charge me. The workers are so confused on what they are even doing I will not be back!!!.. Also all I did was ask her if the policy or anything changed based off the sizes and she said no but was very rude about it. Even still I was not rude to her. You need better people working for you!

Definitely a better use for this property than an insurance or realty office. Proximity to the Quaker meeting house, central elementary school, the new apartments all should bode well for them. Been a fan of frigid frog since they came into town years ago, this is the best place it has been located in all of those years. Their shaved ice is better than Kona Ice. They have both soft serve and regular ice cream. Outside, in the carriage house they have converted it to a mini arcade. Inside the house, they usually play kids movies in the front where thr tables are and the upstairs is reserved for parties... Out back, there is ample seating outside for you to enjoy your sweets. Went here for the first time last night. Good products and great service. Was greeted as we approached by a nice young lady cleaning the front door, greeted again on entering by the girl behind the counter who immediately asked if we'd been in before and when we said no proceeded to show us all they had and then give us time to choose. She promptly started getting my ice cream, then another girl appeared and got my husbands order. Ice cream is true hard ice cream, very little melting even when we sat outside and ate it.
