I wanted to ship a package to Bangladesh. I wanted to use DHL option and it cost roughly 60$ to send this type of package to Bangladesh. When I went to their store, they said that it would cost 80$ to send it to Bangladesh. I got surprised and they almost started bargaining about it!!
I googled through my smart phone and showed them that the cost should be around $60 for DHL option. They said that they could not ship it for less than $70. I was in a hurry and decided to send it for $70.
They kept the package, received my money, gave me a purchase slip but did not give me a shipping label. They said that they had some other customers and they would process the package, i.e., generate the mailing label, ten minutes after I leave the store.
10-15 minutes after leaving the store, I received an email from UPS (not DHL)! It said that they had sent my package through UPS (not DHL) to Bangladesh!
Apparently, UPS costs more than DHL if someone wants to send a package to Bangladesh. That's why they charged me $70 instead of $60 and processed the package after I left the store. By using the more expensive option, they made more money out of the whole process.

Read moreUPDATE: As noted below, we had issues with Amazon returns not getting taken care of through this store. This local store was unable to run down what the issue was after we had gone there twice requesting help. Literally hours after posting this, and a couple of weeks of trying to get this resolved, Amazon contacted us stating they had received the returns - and after Amazon had charged us for not making the returns. I am not able to determine where the breakdown was, whether it was this store, or UPS at large (they often get sideways but I won't get started on that), or Amazon, but either way I want to update the review to reflect that the package was not lost but somehow delayed and we were unable to find out why or how. Still not five stars, as I do feel that the store could have gone the extra step, and we will still be sure to save every receipt.
