the cashier girl was not friendly. my sister and i went to get boba and she got a rose tea and i got a red bean matcha. when we received our orders, i was confused as to why there was no red bean in my drink, but they actually put it in my sisters ROSE tea. we didnt get upset, we just brought it up to the cashier with the receipt and said they put red bean in the wrong drink. she didnt say sorry or offer to make a new drink, she took out the red bean from my sisters drink and just put it into mine. it tasted awful because the flavors clash. the tea tasted super powdery, im not against boba drinks being made out of powder bc thats what normal places do but this one especially tasted bad. the boba was also not that good, probably never going back and sticking to sharetea.
i dont know the time and date but it was about three weeks ago. i also went to the plano location that just opened up. i understand that when a place opens up it takes a little bit for the drinks to be as good, but whoever the cashier was made the experience not that...
Read moreAlright another boba tea spot to try. This place just open recently and looks interesting. On this night after some Vietnamese food, we decided to hit this place up for a desert drinks. The inside looks very bright and nicely decorated. The decor is very similar to other boba tea place where there are cute posters on the wall inviting you to sit down and play those cute little games that only a dork would hang around and do. That sounds like me. Anyways, after a peak of their menus, I decided on the medium red bean and matcha (4.25$) and my friend got large winter melon latte with jelly (6.00$). I know what you are thinking and yes that’s expensive. I refused to pay over 5$ for bubble tea it doesn’t matter how good it it hence the 3 star for this place. As for the taste, my matcha tasted relatively good. The winter melon was not that great according to my friend. I feel that if this place wants to compete, they have lower their prices because Goncha is around the corner and you know everyone...
Read moreThis place is great! The typical boba/Taiwanese/Japanese type of place. I have never tried the food; the price is very high! But if I know places like this, it's probably crazy good. As soon as I have money of my own, I will probably try it.
In my opinion, this place is not quite as good as nearby QQ Teahouse- QQ has smoothies, and offers you the chance to combine flavors in drinks. I would like to see these things added to Vivi. The drink prices are also slightly higher at Vivi- I don't fault them for that, though. For they probably need the revenue.
Vivi more than makes up for the comparison to QQ by having more unique drink options, a less crowded atmosphere and even a bit better service. QQ gets so busy that at times their service cannot help but suffer. Vivi is quiet and friendly. Vivi also plays good music. I enjoyed my experience and will most definitely return. All in all, great shop for boba drinks, absolutely a solid choice. I recommend any of...
