I had cataract surgery here on March 3, 2025. Initially, I was told two different amounts for the surgery. However, I opted for a payment plan to see what my insurance would cover. The surgery went well, and I was informed that I would be in a stupor, but I was fully conscious and coherent throughout the procedure. I paid the remaining balance in full on March 31, and I was informed that the payment plan would be removed.
On May 3rd, almost $700 (the amount I would have paid through the payment plan) was debited from my account. The office was closed on the weekend, so I called first thing on Monday to inquire about the refund. I was informed that it had been refunded and that I needed to give it until Thursday, May 8.
However, when Thursday arrived, I still had not received the refund. I called back and was given a rather unsatisfactory excuse, claiming that it was like payroll and could be processed as soon as Friday. Unfortunately, it’s now Friday, and I still have not received the refund.
I repeated my calls and requested the refund, but I was told that my bank (Chase) had received it. I contacted Chase directly, and they informed me that they had no record of any pending refund.
Despite several calls back and forth, a week has passed, and I am still out $700. This experience has left me beyond frustrated and disappointed, as I had expected a more efficient and timely...
Read moreI’ve had 2 procedures at this facility in a month. My first was 5 stars. My second was zero with the exception of my Dr, his tech & my anesthesiologist. Before we even got to surgery day, their billing dept had wrong info & were very rude. Reported this & was told that’s been a problem before with that department. The nurse that tried to put my iv cath in (2nd procedure) had no idea what she was doing. I had a huge bruise & knuckle pain from her attempt. The anesthesiologist saw that she messed up & offered to do it. He did it perfectly. I was shoved out the door before I was even able to walk. Could only stand long enough to sit right back down. I voiced this & was told “you’ll be in a wheelchair”. Yes, it’s required to exit in a wheelchair. It’s terrible to be shoved out the door before you feel safe enough standing up. I had to have help to get into my vehicle. My first procedure, the nurse didn’t let me go until I was able to walk without feeling like I might fall. I chose this facility for my 2nd procedure based on my first procedure experience. I’d not choose it again, because of my 2nd...
Read moreI've dealt with many doctors, hospitals, facilities, and have had several surgeries over the past 12 years due to a serious car accident when I was 19. Over that time I developed a distrust and even an aversion to doctors and medical facilities. My doctor, Dr. Kwon (southwest hand and microsurgery) is wonderful and I will be giving him a separate 5 star review. Speaking specifically about this facility, I could not have been more pleased. The most important thing to note is that the entire place is very clean. Check-in was pleasant, a breeze. Every single person I came in contact with, from check-in to post op, exceeded my expectations in sincere friendliness and professionalism. I was more than impressed. Everything was done quickly and efficiently but not rushed. They all seemed to care. I know that sounds simple but is so important. They all seemed happy to be there and were joking and laughing with each other but not in an unprofessional manner. It set me at ease knowing they were all happy to be there. I don't know what more I can say. I highly recommend this place. I would take anyone in my...
