Kolache Factory — Restaurant in Plano

Picked up some kolaches to take home as I had not been to Kolache Factory in quite some time. I was greeted when I arrived and they did not have one of my favorites, Italian Chicken, which they used to always carry, even in the morning. It would be a 30 minute wait, so I opted for my other favorite sausage, egg, and cheese. I also tried the flavor of the month, which was Country Breakfast. When I asked about the coffee flavors for the day, I couldn't understand the lady as her accent was thick, and she wasn't speaking up. I had to ask 3x. After all that, she ended up providing me with the plain coffee instead of the lovely flavored coffee I asked for. Sadly, I didn't know until later when it had cooled enough so I could taste it. Most frustrating to me is that this location used to be part of the Five Star network for rewards (which I had), and now they are not. Now if you want Rewards you have to download their App and I was told I could not even apply my receipt from that day to the App since I didn't already have it downloaded. I find this extremely frustrating as most other rewards programs either let you login on a browser or use the App. I don't know if this is with all Kolache Factory locations or just this one, but due to this and the coffee mistake I was less impressed. 072225: If you're up for a quick breakfast, stop by The kolache factory. Unlike other Kolache places, they've got huge selection of proteins and savory items that are sure to fill anyone. If you're looking for something sweet, there's a couple of small sections to the left. We started off with the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese; my wife got a Sausage and then the Sausage and Cheese. All was warm and tasty and served with a smile. And then we ventured for something sweet, the Cinnamon Roll. And it was absolutely wonderful! Another nice visit!!!

073024: So we ordered the Chicken Florentine, bacon egg and cheese, and cream kolaches. All were served with a smile. Caution, Chicken Florentine has crushed red hot pepper in it. It's not labeled as hot so it is a surprise to the unwary consumer. Overall everything is tasty fresh and very unique.

Earlier post: Just coming back from medical appointment, I was driving so I stopped by. Different cashier said their Gravy & Steak Kolache was a top seller. Plus the Cinnamon Twist looked incredible. I was not disappointed, both baked goods were very tasty. Thank you for the excellent experience!

I ordered three separate times through the app. The morning of, I got a call saying they only had whole milk when I had 3 orders of coffee, with one being ordered as coffee with almond milk. They asked if it was okay, I said no because I am lactose intolerant. They asked if I wanted a refund for that coffee and I said yes. When I got there with my boyfriend, the first two orders were correct but the last order was one less item. We asked about it and was told they had no more strawberry kolaches. Why? I ordered this a day in advance. You don't want to make one more at 11:45am when you know it's going to be eaten and not wasted? Absolutely lazy. They tried to give attitude and asked if I wanted to replace it or get a refund. I asked to get it replaced for another fruit kolache instead. I just wanted to leave. The coffee is nasty, so I got lucky I didn't get mine. We picked up the orders on Sunday, called Tuesday because I saw I didn't get a refund for the one coffee they said they'd refund. I was told a manager would reach out to me. It is now Friday and I have yet to receive a call or seen a change in the charge of my card. Highly disappointed. I...
