This course is well kept and has an amazing club house. The front 9 are gorgeous and really fun, unfortunately that's where the good things end. The back 9 is so claustrophobic. Houses hug so closely to the left and then the next hole coming back only 40 yards to the right, leaving you almost no room for error. The worst part about The Barn though is the patrons. The batty old ladies we ran into all were the rudest people I've ever encountered in golf. Multiple rude comments and extra aggressive, demanding to play through even though the group in front of us was only 100 yards ahead. Also making comments how we are a bunch of "hacks" and going sooo slow, once again we were constantly waiting on the group in front, which fine. Another batty old hag got aggressive with us when a ball landed in the rough between holes on the back nine, it landed over 50 yards away from her and we still preemptively yelled fore. She scolded us and said we need to yell fore louder (?) and be more careful. Once again, we were in the shared rough between holes. If you aren't a regular here and are above a 10 handicap, DO NOT COME HERE. This was the only time I've played golf and wanted to leave before...
Read moreGreat course! Excellently maintained and groomed because the greens keeper is awesome!. Mature trees and challenging water hazards make this course my 1st choice for an exciting round. Staff is excellent, friendly & knowledgeable. Located in North Ogden (Pleasant View) with a beautiful view of Ben Lomond peak and North Ogden Divide mountains to enjoy during your round.
Good people and familiar faces always at The Barn. Get a Hot Dog at the turn, they are the best!
Best memory: 24th of July round of golf, got to watch fighter jets from Hill Air Force Base fly over from the parade then shoot straight up the face of Ben Lomond peak with afterburners at full! WOW. Awesome. I try to do that every...
Read moreThis course has just gotten better over time the current owners have spent a lot of time money Blood Sweat and Tears on this golf course. The course is fun to play and offers a variety of challenging options. I've been playing golf here for over 25 years and it still is fun and enjoyable. The setting Willow Ben Lomond peak in the Wasatch mountains is absolutely beautiful extremely stunning in the early morning and in the evenings. The front 9 is probably my favorite the back nine has condos closer to the holes and are mixed in a little bit more but it's still a fun challenge. If you like to hit the ball long there are several holes that you can reach with...
