The Bird — Restaurant in Pleasant View

Loved the food, it was so dang good!! The chicken was delicious with plenty of dipping options and the corn bread was EXCELLENT!! Unfortunately the staff was not friendly/kind at all, very distracted by their cell phones and friends working with them and seemed very put out when asked for anything. I love supporting new businesses and am sad that this was the experience we had. I had brought in 7 people with me and each one had the same experience. I think this place would be great if their team would be kinder, less impatient with questions, put their phones away, and was better about not acting put out when business walks in. When leaving I thanked them for the good food, in hopes I could compliment them and receive a more positive response, but instead was not responded too, and just receive a very unhappy look. I will definitely give them another try in hopes this experience was out of the norm, but I do hope to see some changes to the service so we can see...

We recently placed a large order from The Bird, but unfortunately, the third-party delivery service dropped it off at the wrong address. I called the restaurant directly to see if anything could be done and I was blown away by their response.

Not only did they remake the entire order without hesitation, but they also issued a full refund. In a time when great customer service feels rare, The Bird went above and beyond to make things right, even though the mistake wasn’t theirs.

Tried a new restaurant in the neighborhood yesterday. The Bird is one of the restaurants the has recently opened in the Pleasant View area. I was thoroughly underwhelmed. Although the atmosphere was pretty cool, the chicken was as basic as it gets. It had a decent flavor but nothing distinct about it. The Mac and Cheese was also very basic. I was surprised when I asked for salt, to find out that the had no salt. A restaurant with no salt🤔 Ultimately, there was nothing about the food here that stuck out to me.
