Jim is dishonest. I brought 2 watches to his store. One had been in a drawer forever-and I needed it serviced and a new battery. The other was losing time despite repeated attempts by another jeweler (who claimed they replaced everything) to get it to keep time. He said heād call me in a few days after he looked at both watches to let me know what the watches needed and give me a quote. He called a few days later as promised. When we spoke he quoted $119 to replace the circuit board and $30 to replace the battery. He told me the other watch needed a new movement, saying the movement was original, and quoted me $499. I told him to proceed with the repair of the one watch for $149 and Iād let him know after checking with the jeweler who previously worked on my other watch as I was told everything had been replaced. When I called the other jeweler,he told me he replaced the movement (installed a brand new one) in July-and that it was ānotā original. I then told Jim I did not want the movement replaced, and to not do anything further with that watch. Not knowing who was telling me the truth, I decided to have the original jeweler open it up for me to show me the movement. I picked up both watches today. Jim charged me $199 for the circuit board. Shocked, I told him he quoted $119 and he argued with me. I did not have a choice as I wanted my watches so I paid him another $80 and took my watches. I went directly to the original jeweler today-he opened up the other watch and showed me the movement was new, and inside the watch it was marked ānew movement July 2021ā. I immediately called Jim and let him know that in both cases he was not being honest with me and asked him to credit me the $80 and Iād let this go. He refused and argued with me. JIM IS DISHONEST AND WILL SELL YOU THINGS YOU DO NOT NEED. HE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF CONSUMERS AND RIPS YOU OFF. I PLAN TO FILE A CLAIM AND REPORT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my watch Jim to size it and out a new battery. The cost was supposed to be paid by the Nordstrom. I gave him the slip from the Nordstrom and he accepted it. I came back 20 minutes after as he asked me to. He was in his cell phone. When he saw me he said it is done come back another 20 min. I said I would rather to wait as I was done with shopping. I could see he was browsing face book. He put his cell phone aside and fixed the watch and started calling Nordstrom. He said they are not answering and he asked me to pay for his work. I didnāt want to pay so he told me that he would remove the battery etc if I donāt pay him. I said it would be fine. As he was removing the battery he was clearly upset and start cussing at me! As I confronted her and ask her to watch his mouth he came toward me and he made a fist to hit me. I was shocked and he continued cussing louder that I wasted his time. I got really upset and asked him to give my watch back. And he refused to give it back to me asking me to pay for his time. I had to call 911 and they sent security in the mall and finally I got my watch back. This guy was definitely out of his mind or on drugs. Stay away from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrought my gold necklace here for repairs, ignoring the reviews. Intentionally created another break in the chain he said there was two breaks and that he would fix them no biggie. Get's my necklace back and they look as if they had been glued back together, I didn't really mind since I was looking to get a new one and this was a temporary fix anyway. Within 24 hours at some point the chain broke while I was wearing it and the gem is now gone all I have tis the broken chain which of course broke where he "fixed" it. Thanks for losing my sentimental piece. Should've taken more photos of the incident to report...
